I think I played that one song for hours because I loved it so much. It's not one of my favorite songs on Nimrod but I still love listening to it. It's be interesting to hear this live.

I love the lyrics to the chorus, but this songs always makes me question myself. Or look back on periods of time, where i wish i would have said somthing.. or had the guts. I love it, i think its just one of them song which i connect with!

TheSaltOfTheEarth Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 In my opinion, the whole Nimrod album makes no sense in relation to the songs on the album or to any other Green Day albums. It doesn't really fit in with their progression and growth as a band. I don't know, it just bugs me... I don't know about the growth part...I think with Nimrod, they started to stray a bit from their regular pop punk and experiment a bit. Then they took this way further with Warning. But that's just what I think ^^

kerplunk_chick Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 it's so weird that this song happens to be the song of the week because i actually posted a question about it in the question and answers thread not long ago. i've always wondered who she was. nobody's stories seem to add up. in the lyrics i can't help but think that she was important and what he had to tell her was also very important. it almost drives me mad thinking about it. i love this song, and nimrod in general.
