I get excited/nervous. I try to listen to all of their albums about a week before the show. I used to dye my hair the night before the show, but the last time I did that was during the Warning tour (getting older sucks). The day of the show I get so excited/nervous that I can't eat, and I mainly just end up drinking water. I pick out my clothes the day before the show (but I do that on a daily basis anyway lol)..

Erm, not much other than really finalise the plans. well, not for the zurich gig, that just involved a lot of IFJOISFJ and a sign on my pillowcase

Oh and then on the day, pace myself with trips to the loos. Like "Okay, in half an hour I'm going to have my last wee" xD

WATER! .. and cups.

Loads of food, becasue i spend hours in the line!!

If its cold, i bring a towle.. i dont know why a towle .. but i bring a towle!:P

i have a massive count down as well.

I listen to the music... But not on the day of the gig!

2 nights before, i sleep for extra long, becasue i cant sleep on the night beofore!

ohhhhh, and also the night beofre, i run around my bed room, up walls.

I drink loads in the morning, at stop drinking before i go into the staduim.

then when im in the pit, i drink stupid amounts!

I listen to their music, and only their music, for like an entire week before the show and sing along. That's about all the preperation I do :) A part of it all is to sit outside in the queue for atleast 4 hours. Then you just go in and have the fucking time of your life!

DW about it. My first gig was ever was Green Day AT wembley stadium.

and i was in the pit,i heard all these storys and got so freaked, i was right against the barriers.

I was really scared. But you jsut got to remeber why your there. Talk to people to keep your mind of things.

and yeah i got cuts and stuff, but it was the best night of my life, to be that close to the band, i wouldnt change it for the world.

Talk to people, it makes you feel betterand kinda gives you some reassurance.

But don't be scared. embrace it, becasue you never know when you'll get the chance again.

Thats what i told my self and i did it, and with out a doubt, it was the best night of my life.

In Helsinki while in the queue.. I was just drinking Coca Cola and eating nuts lol. I wasn't hungry at all because I was excited that I was going to see Green Day that day. I was sitting on the ground with my sister and friend like everyone else were. We were just talking and lying on the ground. Always make sure to use the toilet before the gates open. When the show was over, I was hungry as hell, so I ate pizza that wasn't warmed. :D

Oh, and the day before I was nervous and very excited. I couldn't believe that the day of the gig was coming. I couldn't eat breakfast because all I was doing was thinking of Green Day and the concert that night.

have a long relaxing sleep the night before.

i usually don't eat the day of the show, too much emotions I end up nauseated.

oh and remember to go pee before the doors open.

try to stay calm and get to sleep the night before

bring loads of water and some food. and bring something to sit on ..y'know its better when you gonna sit on the floor for hours, well unless you get in line like 30 mins before the doors open. yeah thats pretty much it.

edit: a biggggggg mistake i've made last year was wearing a hoodie and a tshirt indoors. it was cold outside but as soon as i was in the moshpit i've got all sweaty and it was soo hot that i passed out, not gonna lie. so never wear a hoodie at a green day show :sherlock:

I think there's not much preparation to be done.

Decide what you wanna wear for the show, then go and buy a big bottle of water which you can drink while waiting in line before the show. Uhm yeah, that's about it.

It's probably also good to eat enough during the day, but I usually can't.

The only 2 green day shows ive been to, ive had to travel 6 or so hours to get to them, so i prepare by listening to as many of their albums back to back as possible. :sherlock:

Plan every little detail and try to get every single piece of information possible :)

and the night before idk. I just get so fucking excited and I can't sit still and I can't sleep :runaround:

haha i get my game face on. :ga:

i pick like a billion different outfits to wear and i have to find the "perfect one" and i got to make sure everything that needs to be taken care of, is. oh yeah the night before i cant sleep at fucking all.

i have never been to one of their shows cuz theyve never been to my country :(

ive never seen any of my favorite bands live... :(

before the show have a very very relaxed day. Watch a crap load of tv sleep, have a very light dinner. Try avoid drinking water before the show. Go to the bathroom before the show. Stay calm durning the opening bands. Avoid getting up out of your seats(if you are in seats) and then when Green Day goes on go fucking nuts!

ive only seen them once, and that was when i was a fresh GD fan, so i prepared by listening to the predicted setlist 4548927528397 times, and memorizing as many lyrics as possible. i remember singing minority on the way there

This so much! I saw them in 2009, but didn't know much of the older stuff, so I just checked Setlist.com every night for about a week before and trying to do that.

Woke up early to 21stCB (for both shows), started dancing in front of my mirror, was hyper, ate well, drank loads and went to the bathroom before they opened the gates. Then I ran like hell. And was stopped by security, bahaha.

I'm not Green Day. I don't have to prepare for shows.

Mainly, it's just me getting gradually more and more impatient for it until the night before, which I generally have issues sleeping, because my impatience has reached it's peak.

LOOOL same, i was "technically" a "poser fan" right before the concert because i knew much more newer stuff so i had a lot of work to do
i treated the concert as if it dictated my life, i was so prepared.

security told me not to stand in my chair (even though i was the last row of the section,so there was no one behind me) that pissed me off.
