I love this comment! I think it was all tongue-in-cheek. They did the same thing at the Grammys (not as crazy as this since the song was slower), but I think if the guys wanted them to leave them alone, they would have said so.

The first thing I noticed were all the girls putting their hands around Billie Joe when they were singing, haha couldn't overlook it. Anyway, it's great that they're doing this kinda stuff and are so active. Gives us so much to watch.

Felt really jipped watching football for an hour just to see five seconds, but the full performance was really awesome. I love how the cast was singing She's A Rebel!

I think everyone needs to chill a bit. I understand that some of you are put off by the fact that the cast are performing with the band. If you really watch the video, the girls weren't being sluts, Rebbecca was keeping her dress down, Libby was just being funny and the girls touching Billie as they sing? Well imagine how awkward it would have looked if they just stood separately and sung. (Oh and haven't you all noticed there were cheerleaders in skimpy clothing dancing around as well? Are you gonna call them sluts?)

If you think about it, American Idiot is set to close on January 30th. This means that there won't be many opportunities for them to perform together anymore because there will be no musical to promote. The band have been doing TV performances for what, 16 years? In that time they've only performed with the cast 3 times!
