EuropeanIdiot Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 These signs are a really really awesome idea. When I saw all of them sticking out of the crowd at the gig in Paris, I was like :woot: . I think Billie was feeling something like that, too. Ah, the memories. LOVE those Awesome as fuck signs!
Metanoia Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 it gives me goosehumps to see something like that ...
Abbey. Posted September 20, 2010 Author Posted September 20, 2010 IDIOT AS FUCK signs at yesterday's AI. dont ask me what it means, i just wanted IDIOT on the sign and AS FUCK. i handed em out to people who were walking into the theater. they thought i was either a) gonna mug them or b) try and sell them something. i guess id do the same if someone approached me in nyc a lot of people brought their own homemade AWESOME AS FUCK SIGNS which is cool as fuck. Beth had a bunch that she had leftover from Denver that she brought. All in all I think the signs were good fun and showed Green Day our appreciation. PARIS FANS RULEEEEEEEEEEE!
jensername Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Wow, I really need to start doing that. I really do have a lot to thank them for.
Katarina. Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Maybe.. they will include photos of the tour.. showing the thank you signs, as a part of the artwork? That would be so awesome (as fuck)!
Tubbie Head Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Maybe.. they will include photos of the tour.. showing the thank you signs, as a part of the artwork? That would be so awesome (as fuck)! yeah, I was thinking about that!
Wet socks traumatize me Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 We did that at the Montreal gig in August! We printed a bunch of 'em and handed them out to people in line... A lot of signs were shown at Good Riddance and I was so happy, yelling "TAKE OUT YOUR SGNS GUYS!!!" "THANK YOU GREEEEN DAAAAAY!!" Anyway. I was crazy. And Billie Joe mentionned it in his twitter...
pasalaska Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 nothing will beat Paris in terms of signage scale - it looked like almost every person in the pit had one. I remember them handing out the signs in line, they had massive stacks of them But Denver was brilliant in that Billie just LOVED them. He couldnt stop smiling.
