Harriet Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Billie's DUI. That was stupid. Other than that, I can't think of anything worth complaining about really.
pasalaska Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 I really don't like that Green Day have managed to get so under my skin that I can't go a minute without thinking of them, and I can't function without listening to their music for a day. I really don't like that I pretty much only talk to my Green Day friends now - because I've never felt so close to other people - but that those friends live on the other side of the country, so I never get to see them. I really don't like what Green Day did to my bank balance this year either. but I guess that one's partially my fault. and I really don't like that they didn't come back to Australia this year.
Axel Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I'm kind of annoyed by their new image and a majority of their fan base. Also hate the "HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH" every 5 seconds And I wish they would play more Look Out Record stuff. :/
kerplunk_chick Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Billie's DUI. That was stupid. Other than that, I can't think of anything worth complaining about really. that is exactly what i was going to comment on. i could care less if you drink or smoke or do drugs, just don't do something fucking stupid that could hurt someone else. and on top of it all, you have kids, what were you thinking?

kerplunk_chick Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 i just thought of another thing: i don't like the fact that they COMPLETELY skipped ohio on the tour. grrr.
porksoda Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I wish they would wear normal clothes all the time. The spiffy outfits were okay during AI, but I just wish they'd wear a t-shirt and jeans every now and then. And I don't care if they wear eyeliner or not. And the HEY-OHs get old really quick.

pasalaska Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 aw, I like the hey-ohs but I can see how they'd get annoyed

Billie Joe sometimes overdo with the HEY-OH's, and when he does I'm making fun of him
Storer Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 The only thing that ever bugs me is how Billie often says the same thing between certain songs. Hitchin' a Ride for example, "this is what I need, this is what it's gonna take".
Kung_Pow Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Billie Joe's height is quite distracting when I see them live.
Metanoia Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 The only thing that ever bugs me is how Billie often says the same thing between certain songs. Hitchin' a Ride for example, "this is what I need, this is what it's gonna take". mmmh....well yeah i like parts of the show that dont change like toyl at the end and all but all the very.very, much hey-hos.....and the same phrases all the time....idk i just think billie should think of something else Billie Joe's height is quite distracting when I see them live. aaw....poor billie
Harriet Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 I just asked this to my little sister, she said "Mike's face." and then "Their music." I get the feeling she's not a fan.
CzechIdiot Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I totally LOVE them, but , I think its a little bit sad that they turned to mainstream...
LMC Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I totally LOVE them, but , I think its a little bit sad that they turned to mainstream... They've been mainstream since 1994...
bat-chen Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Billie Joe's height is quite distracting when I see them live. I know what you mean and I'm even shorter than him.
SOMERTEN Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I love the guys but feel it's a shame the 21CB tour was too similar to the AI one. I also wish the show would end with the 3 guys playing and the accoustic bit done in the middle, if at all. It's not fair on Mike and Tre that Billy gets all the applause at the end, except for maybe a few seconds. I also hate the long lull between albums, and the lack of official live footage from this tour. All we see are utube shots and it doesn't show the band at their best. I want everyone to know how good they are. The reason crap like Muse and the Killers get all the attention is because they are never off the tv. I wish someone would get HLAHG released now! I also wish the FBHT would tour the UK and I could see the guys goin crazy in a small venue. Think that's all!

ParadoxAndPlaid Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 The fact the time affects them, & some day -a long time from now- they'll no longer be with us, sharing their amazing talents. But their mortality is not their fault of course. I just asked this to my little sister, she said "Mike's face." and then "Their music." I get the feeling she's not a fan. What's wrong with her?! those are the two best things about Green Day!
jos_whatsername Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 *His name is Billie. thats EXACTLY what my first thought was hahaha.. on static noise, alex once said "people comment articles with "they spelled his name wrong!" more than with anything else." " i think the only think that i dislike about them.. um.. is that they're SO huge rockstars - the ticket prices are high (though i'd pay nearly any prize for them), and the venues are sooo big you dont feel any intimacy-except you're in the very first row..
E!!i Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I don't like that Tré has so much changing girlfriends.
xjernpqvrnbfv Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I don't like that Tré has so much changing girlfriends. But it's his private life and as long as he is happy we shouldn't really care. I mean it doesn't affect the music, so I don't see a problem.
Hermione Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 ^Exactly......their private lives have nothing to do with the band. That includes Billie's DUI too. For all the people saying Billie's DUI, that isn't something about Green Day you don't like. It has nothing to do with Green Day!
Tubbie Head Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 When they play like 10 rare songs at some concerts while other gigs get none. Yes.. every concert is special bla bla bla but it just bothers me. That bugs me too... I have to admit it. xD
