I can totally understand feeling sad that someone you care about or admire smokes, I feel sad that my parents and other people I care about smoke every day. But at the end of the day it's something that a lot of people do and it's his business. It's not something for us to worry about.

Not saying I'd like that, but it's still his choice. You don't have to like it that he smokes, but you can't decide for him that he shouldn't smoke.

If you burn something and inhale it then it's carcinogenic, there's not really much difference between smoking one thing or another. I'll qualify this statement by admitting that I smoked from a ridiculously early age, and have probably smoked more cannabis than anyone else I have ever met. There are several things in my life that I would like to have done differently with hindsight, and smoking is right up there at the top. But like Hermione said, if people want to smoke then it's their business. I just find the whole "sexy" thing rather interesting.
