Hmm I'm leaning towards the child thing being untrue. I don't think I've ever heard Billie say it himself. And it'd make more sense that it happened nearer to the time of him writing the song. So I believe him

He's said that it was the babysitter who turned on the dryer not knowing there was a cat in it.

Where did you get that information from?

Ahh I see. I guess because of a babysitter being mentioned someone wrongly thought it had to do with Billie being a child and that's where the incorrect "his cat was killed in a dryer when he was 7" thing came from.

Ah yes, that's probably true :)

Hang on a minute does that mean someone babysitting his kids? Or someone babysitting him?

And don't forget his leopard print thongs. :eyebrows:

I think he did not have a babysitter, did he? From what I remember not.

And if it was the babysitter for his kids, it goes with Cleveland being the brother of the dead cat, right?

I'm 100% certain that it's true but I remember reading it around 2003-2004 so I honestly have no clue what it was from. He said that he and adrienne had gotten home from a date and one of them found the cat dead in the dryer after the babysitter couldn't find him.

Must be terrible that your cat dies in the dryer... :( But I think it's his fault, cats usually likes random, crazy places.

Man that must have been horrible. :/

I see, thanks for the info. Yeah that's really awful, I can't even imagine how I'd feel if that happened to me.

A girl I used to know had that same thing happen to her cat believe it or not :(

Two things came to mind when I first saw the picture of his cat, Cleveland....1. aww cute cat and 2. why is Billie creeping in the background?

CLEVELAND!

I spy Billie in the left of the picture :woot:

:woot: Billie's creeping! :ninja::lol:

oldie but cutie!

are we talking about Cleveland or Billie? :eyebrows::lol:

Exactly . And their studio now......they're obsessed!

ABSOLUTELY. they are obsessed. especially Billie.

Anyway, it's aweful what happened to Zero. :(

That's such a shame. I guess cats just like to hide in small comfortable spaces. And in the US you have those washers/dryers that open from the top that cats can get into really easily and that you can only see into if you open the lid and look in, they must be a real hazard for cats =/

My washer/dryer's have always been front loaders but when I had cats, I always made sure the doors were always closed. Just in case!

Yeah I do the same thing, and I never put anything in there until I'm about to turn it on so I can see it's definitely empty. I know the chance of not noticing a cat in a front loader (or a cat even going in a front loader) is very low, but I don't wanna take that chance.
