east cc nowhere Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 I feel a bit bad for the guys – im sure they truly want to do everything and everything they can to help Kyle but if they cant visit him for whatever reasons they will feel the pressure. It will look a bit like they just don’t care – when really I am sure they do. I noticed at the end of one of the news articles the anchor made a final side comment along the lines of nothing had been heard from Green Day. It sucks for the band if they do actually care but aren’t able to do anything more than a tweet

I hope Kyle reads that. he only tweeted :/ it doesn't take any effort really. Billie is my hero and all but people sometimes gush ridiculously about tiny things that the guys do. I was reading the responses to some of adriens tweets and it's kinda stupid. she says, "how do we contact you kyle?" and people reply with "OMG ADRIEN you are the most beautiful person in the world. your so awesome, I love you!!!" when I give £20 of my futile allowance to charity in our school collection box when everyone else puts in like 2p I don't get called a saint or "the most beautiful and awesome person in the world" all rants aside I'm sure that Kyle will enjoy his mention from one of his heroes. If he goes and meets the kid i will be proud of him. tweeting is good for the time being.

There is a certain amount of pressure on the band to go and see this kid, and it would be great if they could, but what if they can't? For whatever reason they might just not be able to do it. And if they can't, at least the family know that the band is thinking of them. It might not be much but it's something.
