My half asleep brain took him seriously for like 30 sec, you know that falling feeling in your stomach... That woke me up enough to realize he was joking... Once I woke up enough to realize that... I felt like he had forgotten the rest of the joke. Then I wanted to tweet back: A man walked into a bar and yelled 'OW'. But my phone freaked out... so I went on a tangent about that instead... and he'd already tweeted the 'just kidding' bit, so it was too late for my lame ass response. I also love that he has a broad interest in music styles... awesome!

Ok, meth might be a little bit too much, but I know I couldn't watch this thing with at least a dozen of beers. Does Billie really actually like these bands or is he just bored out of his mind, I wonder?

I just looked up what The Big 4 means and I got Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax and Megadeth. Now I understand the meth tweet... Ok, meth might be a little bit too much, but I know I couldn't watch this thing with at least a dozen of beers. Does Billie really actually like these bands or is he just bored out of his mind, I wonder? Billie and Mike used to play metal covers when they first started playing music together, so it's not like him liking metal is a new thing.

Basically the only difference is that meth is water-soluble so the body can absorb it faster and you can shoot it up too. Billie knows his meth well

Surely when Green Day have talked about taking speed they mean taking amphetamine, not meth?! I could be wrong but that's what I've always assumed.

That's what I always thought anyway.

In the UK there's pretty much no such thing as methamphetamine/crystal meth, people take amphetamine and call it speed. So when Green Day talk about taking speed they mean crystal meth?! Wow I seriously didn't know that, I though they just meant 'normal' speed/amphetamine.
