broadway Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I would assume he's just taking a much deserved break. He's been keeping pretty busy lately, he probably just wants to relax with the wife and kids and forget about everything else for a while. I was shocked that he never tweeted on the Saturday and Sunday of his last performances, though. Maybe he just felt too stressed out and overwhelmed.

It just feels so awkward for him to say okay last tweet...like he knew he didn't have to do it anymore...and then didn't. Obvious all speculation!

I can see "Ok last tweet" as being like, "Ok, I'm finally done with this bullshit now." And since he was just over 100 tweets, maybe someone bet/dared him to tweet 100 times? Who knows! Of course, this is BJA, so maybe he's just trying to keep us guessing, haha. Either way, I totally miss his tweets and I hope he does come back eventually!
Hermione Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I dunno about a bet or dare, someone from management suggesting it seems more likely. Like those messages he did for GD.com a few years ago, he had fun doing them but that doesn't mean it was his idea or that he wasn't being asked to do it. But whether that was the orginal reason for him starting tweeting or not he was clearly doing it for his own amusement once he started either way. So it doesn't really make any difference.
