He then said how technology was taking over, bleh, blegh, bleh.

As much as I enjoyed the tweets, I think it would be kind of weird for Billie Joe to tweet right away given they just finished the tour and to be honest he's got to take some down time. He seemed to have fun with it but who knows probably fun to see some immediate fan interaction while on tour. Maybe the company took the Blackberry back over after the tour though.

I know it's nice to tweet while on tour or as St Jimmy as it brings attention to the fact that he's, you know, on tour and being St Jimmy, but still, a happy christmas tweet wouldn't hurt, beej XD
