Hmm, I don't think either that he's gonna tweet much anymore. It was probably a fun thing to do while on tour, but now idk. Maybe a "yay back home" tweet, but I'm not expecting anything, really.

He tweeted a few times while off tour. And a lot of his tour tweets weren't even about the tour. I doubt he'll tweet much if at all but I hope he does.

Technically it's Green Day's twitter account, not Billie's. The tour is over, so there isn't much to tweet about. If Billie Joe really wants to tweet, he could've made his own account? Idk.

Yeah, I think he's gonna be taking a break from anything technology related for quite awhile, haha. Can't blame him, though, you need it now and again! I just had an almost week-long stint without regular Internet access myself last month, as I was visiting my Nan's and she has nothing out in the country.

I am not sure that he'd seem a hypocrite. He's ranted about technology before, and I'm pretty sure he'll do it again. And in the scheme of things, not that many people know about what he said in the heat of the moment in Peru. However, I do think that maybe we won't hear from him for a while, unless the Giants win. He's probably just doing what he's doing right now. Whatever that is.

But he will tweet again, one of these days, and Green Day's twitter will certainly send some adverts out sooner or late, too.

I don't know. Unless armstrongbillie posts pictures like lucky orange socks, BJ on a llama, BJ and his dogs, and stuff that we know can only come from him, I'll be sticking to Green Day's twitter account.

i checked the twitter account, and i'm actually sure it's not him.

he just doesn't sound like billie.. well, on most tweets. and he tweets 'via web', meaning he uses the computer/laptop to tweet, which he has never done.

Completely agreed. When I was in Italy I had no internet whatsoever (or any media, really). As much as I love the internet, it was nice having a rest. It's good to occasionally be disconnected.

I did use technology, but still... an entirely different thing from the internet or taking pictures at something you really have to live.

I know he's ranted about technology before but he seemed more angry this time around. Other times, he talked about it like it was just a mild annoyance. To me, the tweets were his way of replacing "Story Time" from last year.

Yeah, I'd say that's part of why he hasn't.

I don't think he really has any reasons to tweet anymore, the tour is over.

And that too, he probably won't for a while now, unless he becomes St. Jimmy again or something.

I kind of wish Billie would do those phone messages again I just listened to them a couple of days ago, I didn't remember some of them, and it's just so great =) Better than just tweets.
