I meant bothered by the fact that Billie hates facebook, I misunderstood you. Since you said " why does this bother people so much" right after saying people post the same over and over, I thought you meant you questioned why people are bothered that Billie hates fb. Sorry for the confusion. No one is making a big deal out of it.

He just want people to stop stalk his loved ones on there. If I remember well it's also being said in the Emily's Army's facebook that Joey's profile got hacked, there are really some nasty situations going on there. its not about hacking. its about all the fakes. Billie doesnt like liars. especially liars who pretend to be him or his family and who con fans.

As far as I know he had an account, he got hacked and then he waited a while before opening a new one. I guess he wants to be just like his friends. Accepting not to open a Facebook is easy for an adult (I guess Adie doesn't miss that kind of things) but maybe it's not that easy for a teen. yeah

They should leave them alone, cause it's simply useless in my opinion. Billie wants to protect his friends/family and then I think I understand why he made a tweet like that. And he's not the only one hating facebook..

I definatly know that in this day and age, as a teen myself, I've seen people get made fun of for not having a Facebook. It's gotta suck tenfold to have to worry about your pictures getting stolen like that. If I remember, there was a photo on EA's Myspace that you could see Billie in the background and people went apeshit over it, so they took it down. Some people need a common sense smack.

Ellenkc Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 The fake profiles are not only annoying, but for every fake profile there's a shit ton of people who think it's real, therefore the profile could post whatever they hell the wanted and the fans would take it as truth. It's a dangerous thing and is basically a mild form of identity fraud, which nobody likes, so yeah he has a reason to be pissed off.

I can see why he would get annoyed though, I mean it's one thing when fans annoy the band/create fake profiles, it's another when they do stuff like that to their families. Their kids have the right to talk to their friends and stuff on Facebook without being bothered by their Dad's fans.

It was "ho as hell," and the typo is still up. We actually mentioned that it was great that Billie got it right the second time around.
