(the lack of nominations) They really didn't have any popular videos on MTV this year, LOTAG occasionaly got played, but not enough. As we all know, MTV is pretty much worshipping artists like Gaga, Drake, and Ke$ha. It's not really surprising Gaga got like 13 nominations, she's the new "in" thing right now.

Quack. what?? my fav has to be walking contradiction. lady gaga may just win because she is lady gaga. its unfair to throw in the googley eyes thing, since those are contacts, and there werent that many special effects. uprising is all in some 3D ish video, isnt it? with the bears destroying the city? you'll never know with MTV...

I like Waiting and I really liked 21CB. I've never really tallied up which ones I like best, but 21CB is definitely up there. I can get totally sucked in with the effects. And Lady Gaga, blahhh. Damn right I said that. It's one of their best videos in my opinion. And the best one from 21CB, by far. But yeah, I don't think they're going to win this award. It's too little 'MTV' for that. It's art.

I mean, would it kill for a little variety? Gaga is nominated two times in categories. They snubbed Rihanna, Adam Lambert, Christina Aguilera, Britney, Green Day, and other artists. I showed it to my friend and he was like, "This is like art, the cinematography is fucking brilliant. And the effects are just...amazing." and I was like, "Damn right. They better get nominated for an award for this video." and he was like, "For fucking shizzle."
