Kayfabe Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 "Nobody ever said that life was fair now" "Watching the clock tick all the time - where did all the time go?"
×HeartGrenade× Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 i already have some lyrics on my walls&closets.. ...like: ~on the door: WELCOME TO PARADISE ~closet: bite my lip & close my eyes, take me away to paradise /it says your home is where your heart is but what a shame cuz everyones heart doesn't beat the same /i am one of those melodramatic fools /I'm the son of RAGE & LOVE/ /i'm not growing up, i'm just burnin out/ /and there's nothing wrong with me...this is how i'm supposed to be/ AND there's nothin left 4 you 2 say, soon you'll be dead anyway. all words are paint in 21st CB font. its sooo cool. (i have plans to write more lyrics...like "it didn't say much but it only comfirmed that the center of the earth is the end of the world"...etc.
Guest Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 I have "Welcome To Paradise" above my door, I only put it up two days ago actually I want some more lyrics, this thread has given me some inspiration
Jessayy Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 I would love to do this, but i know that after a while my room would look messy and just.. horrible These ones come to mind... "Your faith walks on broken glass And the hangover doesn't pass Nothing's ever built to last" "Open the past and present. And the future too" "The saint of all the sinners"
Katarina. Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 So many.. I actually wanted to put lyrics on my walls for a long time. But I'm not allowed, especially since we're moved now and my walls are painted again not too long ago. But I'd love to have lyrics on my wall from songs like Waiting, Good Riddance, Hold On, Homecoming, Redundant, Paper Lanterns, Going to Pasalacqua etc. Ah, so many
poisonoak Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 oh baby baby... lol jk at the top of my head, "Kiss the demons out of my dreams" there are plenty more
downontelegraph Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 I've always loved the line "a conscientious objector to the war that's in my mind". Of course, I think so many of GD's lyrics would make great wall art
music_that_is Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 I would fill up the walls with all the lyrics from 21CB . Hmm actually it sounds like a good idea
Metanoia Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 either "You are your own worst enemy" or "Give me a long kiss goodnight and everything will be alright" or the whole lyrics of Road to Acceptance.
Tess_S Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 i've already painted a wall of my room with Green Day Lyrics. I've written so much lyrics but I written in a big size FORGETTING YOU BUT NOT THE TIME. Then mom painted my lyrics wall in black
Pedestrian9394 Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 From the song Road to Acceptance: If you'd stop a while, and maybe if you'd smile, you would realize that we are all the same. I listened to that song a couple of days ago and that line blew me away. I had never thought about the lyrics before, but they're amazing. Edit: Sorry for stealing your song, Hannah. I didn't read any of the posts before I posted mine. xD

Undómiel Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Seeing as I'm getting 'Starry Nights, City Lights' actually tattooed on me I'd certainly put it and the rest of Are We The Waiting on my bedroom wall
AfterShock Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 "Lost and found, trouble bound, Castaway" or "Question everything, or shut up and be a victim of authority. Warning, live without warning"
dori711 Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 i'd paint the beginning lines of Boulevard Of Broken Dreams (on my own bedroom, if i had place - but before moving is quite senseless) & some lines from Welcome to Paradise. [i just love it nowadays. <3] However, i think my mates in the dormitory wouldn't be pleased with that. when i'll have an own flat... paint the rooms.
Rock'n'RollGirlfriend Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I already have "Nobody's perfect and I stand accused, For the lack of a better word, and that's my best excuse." ;] But I'd add: Anything from 21st Century Breakdown. All of Letterbomb. Jesus of Suburbia: "It says: home is where your heart is, But what a shame, 'Cause everyone's heart, Doesn't beat the same, We're beating out of time " Warning: "Warning. Live without warning" Waiting: "I've been waiting a lifetime For this moment to come I'm destined for anything at all Dumbstruck Colour me stupid Good luck You're gonna need it Where I'm going if I get there... At all.... Wake up Better thank your lucky stars.... " Walking Alone: "Sometimes I need to apologize Sometimes I need to admit that I ain't right Sometimes I should just keep my mouth shut, or only say hello Sometimes I still feel I'm walking alone." Christie Road: "Give me something to do to kill some time Take me to that place that I call home Take away the strains of being lonely Take me to the tracks at Christie Road."
Conspiracy. Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I'm considering to paint one wall of my room black and fill it completetly with GD lyrics, in tiny white letters. I bet it will look gorgeous.
Metanoia Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 I really like some parts of Little Girl or Waiting or Macy's Day Parade.
uhleckseee Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 I'd have to agree with someone above me: "Kiss the demons out of my dreams" or "Give me a long kiss goodnight and everything will be alright" Just because they're good lyrics for a bedroom.
