Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 What sprinkler system not to get and to never jack off a cactus. And that eucalyptus trees are from Australia.
Guest Whatsername95 Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 To don't give a shit about what others think.
Maddy. Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 green day has taught me about individuality and swear words though not necessarily in that order
GenerationZer0 Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 QUESTION EVERYTHING. Or shut up and be a victim of authority. Pretty much what everyone else is saying. It doesn't fucking matter what people think of you as long as you're having the time of your life. And "The important thing is to, is sometimes to think about the future but to stay in the fucking moment at the same time."
SixtiesJunkiie Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 be yourself and have some fuckin' fun because life is short.
xpoprocks&kittycatsx Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Green Day has taught me to be a minority, always speak my mind, and to act like myself and not give a fuck what others think of me. They gave me courage to do all sorts of things! And I can't thank them enough for it! And thats just ONE of the many, many, many, many reasons why I love this band SO FUCKING MUCH!! What sprinkler system not to get and to never jack off a cactus. And that eucalyptus trees are from Australia. I LOVE THAT!!!!
Smoothed Out Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Not to care what other people think about you as person and be proud of who you really are.
keefe Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 To do what you want, be who you want to be, and have the courage to stand up for what you believe in.
annimaria Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 they taught me to question authorities and stand up against them, and that i should always fight against what i think is wrong, fuck everyone else.
blitzkriegdeb Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 They've taught me to fight for what you believe in, and fuck what the haters say. Do your own thing and don't look back. Have a sense of humor about things. And also, they've taught me that certain height-impared adults can repeat a certain short phrase, over and over and over and over again.
FannyDefoe Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 pretty much everything XD about being myself and they made me really confident about having an opinion... and there'*s nothing more exciting than being a minority.... so there's a BIG HUG and THANK YOU for Green Day
♥PunkKitty♥ Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 To be myself and not just believe whatever my parents believe.
minorityxdisturbed Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Green Day has taught me things that aren't written on books, like fight for what I believe and dream about, don't care about what others say, being who you really want to be, don't be a victim of the sistem, of the authority, to find what I believe, to find my happiness even it is so far, that music is something more about than just playing it, it is about things that others can't say with words.
Total~Nimrod Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Green Day has taught me to be an individual and that being a minority is a good thing. Also, they taught me to have a sense of humor about life and music.
~Ani~ Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 They taught me to question everything and to be myself no matter what. They taught me that it's important to take measures and not to sit around and do nothing otherwise you're becoming, in one way or another, a part of the problem. Green Day introduced me to some kick-ass music and made me more open-minded. They taught me not to give up my dreams even if they seem imposible to fulfil because if you work hard enough and have willingness, everything is possible
Holly Ann Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 To not give a damn about what people think of me. To be myself. /be unique Don't look back. Everything.
Rachel Nimrod Armstrong Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Green Day have taught me to be a "Minority" and do things my own way and don't give a damn about what other pepole think, and also don't be affraid to do things your own way and live life to the full cause you don't know what's gonna happen! thank you Green Day and i LOVE YOU!!!!
TwoDollarAnna Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Everything that was already posted. To be unique and be yourself. I have nothing more to add
st.idiot Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 green day helped me find out what makes me me. im not afraid to stand up for my beliefs or what i believe in. they've helped me how to just do whatever you want and live the life you wanna live. don't give a shit what other people think about you because it doesn't matter what they think as long as you do what you love to do.
fadi_7 Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 they taught me how to live (not to care, how to have fun.......) and i was changed by their music and behavior witch i love both
Punk-tastic32 Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 They taught me to stand up for what I believe is wrong. Don't blindly follow people who think that they have authority over you. Interestingly enough, I did that today. I was shot down of course (after all, she is notoriously bitchy) But hey, I would rather go down fighting then never know if I could have won the battle. ( another Green Day lesson ^^)
kwanArmstrong Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 I come from Hongkong n Im a chinese. English is the basic subject that we should learn in schools in HK but english is processing slowly. It's too difficult to learn English in HK. But I'm glad to try hard to learn English becoz of Green Day. ;D
