Yes, they got like 4-7 (maybe more) guards who always travel with them and then there are the ones from the venue. (Seriously, Billie Joe has this one security guard and all he does is moving the mic around.)

I know for a fact that they have at least one guy at many shows. I've seen him in two or three recordings and he was at the show I went to. He's the guy that tells everybody to get their hands in the air before stage dives.

If we're talking about security that works for Green Day specifically and travels with them etc then fuck yes! Any job where you get to go on tour with Green Day would clearly be an amazing experience for a Green Day fan. I'd rather work in the wardrobe department though

yeah but for someone like me who is itching to leave the house , it is the best job i can think of besides doing green day podcasts but im pretty sure you don't get paid for it.

My friend works security at a venue and he says it is a great but terrible job at times. He works at a small club and NOFX played there a few months ago, shit hit the fan and he was busy ALL night. His boss paid for the security's bar tab after that shift

Well, those security guards DO molest people with their hands when pulling people out of the pit. When Eddie pulled the girl out of the pit for AWTW in Paris, the first thing he grabbed was her tit.

Thanks, Jaymee! I wonder what's the difference between this tour and the others? There was some pretty big shows in Europe. Sounds like a cost-cutting measure, but I guess they have to do what they have to do. Probably means that we won't see him in North America, too. Sad, it would have been nice to say hello again.
