in honor of this week's song, i put shenanigans in my car's cd player.

and had actually forgotten about this album.

it was never really a favorite of mine, and i rarely ever listen to it.

it's definitely growing on me.

Heck yes, haha. This song works great if I'm on a run or bike ride to let out some frustration! I almost always feel better after it plays like two or three times through.

One line I don't understand, "I can see through you, cause you're wearing thin". I know that to wear thin is an expression, but I don't know what it means (and googling expressions usually doesn't really result in anything that helps me much further).

And then there’s, “chewing on tinfoil.” If you’ve never done it, you just wouldn’t understand.

I tried that because of this song. Bad decision.

This a really good song to listen after you fail a test, or someone's been getting on your case all day. Really good way to get rid of some anger.

I've chewed on tinfoil a few times because I chew on things when I get bored (and you can't get gum over here) but I don't remember anything happening. And I did it more after hearing this song. Can someone please tell me what should have happened?

I remember listening to Shenanigans for the first time. I was 'yeah' for most of it. Then when I heard "Haha You're Dead" I was like 'Fuck Yeah!" Later, I found out that Mike wrote it, then I was "WOOHOO, OMFG YEAH!"

I don't think it really makes something happen, but it's just really gross and it hurts too, or is just really annoying in general.

When you say something's wearing thin, it means that it's started to get annoying. Also if you say you can see right through someone, it means they've got an ulteria motive or hidden agenda and you realise what's going on! Hope that helps and make sense!

I fucking love this song. The chorus is amazing, and I like how the melody is uplifting but It's about being happy someones dead haha. Thanks for choosing this as song of the week, I always thought this song was really underrated, just like all of Shenanigans.
