What would you guys think of a Green day collaboration with Muse?

I voted no, but I'm not going to go completely against the idea, as much as I dislike muse,I'm not going to hate on the idea.

I hate U2, but I enjoyed collaboration with Green Day for the cover of The Saints Are Coming.

All in all, I think i'd rather it didn't happen though.

I love Muse, but the two have such different sounds that I don't know what I'd think of it. Odds are it'd be epic, though.

This would be torture. I hate the singers whiney voice to the point that I turn the volume off if Muse come on the radio. Their songs are really sub-standard and they are so over-rated. Britain doesn't really have a world class band at the moment.

It would never work but I think if you mix them together you would get something a bit like The Network.

Muse are too technical for Green Day and when I say that i mean they have one of the best guitarists in the world and i don't think you can limit him to 3 chords or ask Billie Joe to try and create an epic solo. He is more than capable of doing Rock N Roll solos but I doubt he would manage anything more technical. It was U2's simplicity that made them work well with Green Day

If it was really going to happen, I'd be like because I trust both bands and if they decided to do something together is because they know something good is going to come out. But in a hypotetical case... I don´t know, they don´t sound the same at all, Muse are more... less "simple, just go for it", so I don´t know.

If Green Day and Muse collaberated..... I would be the most effing happiest person on the face of this earth!!! Their music is both so different, however I think that if they did collaborate I think it would be a huge revoultion in music. Sadly, I don't think that this will every happen... one can hope though!

I think I'd die of enjoyment. Although, I'm not sure it'd work. I didn't like Muse + the Edge but I did like Green Day and U2.

Muse and Green Day are my ultimatate two favourite bands.
