There wasn't really a person that he was suppose to sing for, it was a joke.

Wow that guy was rude as shit. Even as a joke, like I think Billie gets way too much attention all the damn time and when hes with his wife trying to be alone I'm sure he doesn't want people like shouting into a megaphone "IT'S BILLIE JOE".

erm... Billie knew exactly what was going on there. he wouldnt be in it if he wasnt. ;)

Fake & Gay?

Posted

Idk I really don't think this was staged. Why would that make any sense?

Posted

Because it's not really the home makeover show,or whatever the guy says it is XD that guy is a comedian, right? so yeah, Billie is in on it, he has to be

omg I love this video. His face at the beginning is just so great. I just don't get why he wouldn't just play along. Like, it's clearly him. I don't understand why he denies it.

He was playing along. He knew it was a joke, so he joined in by jokingly pretending they'd got the wrong guy.

For those complaining about the guy...

He was supposed to be rude and annoying; that's him making fun of Extreme Home Makeover. Parodies.

haha awesome!

Personally, I don't think Billie was in on it ... His expression looked way too genuine!

Billie was not amused

(And yes, I get that it was staged, that's why Adie was like, whatever )

The comments about this on GDA are cracking me up

I just loved Billie looking at him for a good few seconds, and chewing on his gum. THAT made me giggle.

Same here! This one is probably the funniest. The girl sounds so indignant and protective of Billie.

That was kinda stupid. I didn't think it was that funny. The outtake from SNL with Will Farrell that you posted a couple of months ago was much funnier. I don't know for sure, but Billie Joe looks pissed in that video. He looked pissed and like he didn't want to be bothered even before the guy went directly up to him and started talking in his face with a mega phone. From what I heard Billie Joe is a pretty nice guy and he is approachable but hint to the guy with a mega phone: If you see a celebrity and he seems like he's not really in a jovial mood or he seems to be pissed to begin with - it's probably not a good idea to go up to him and start yelling in his face with a mega phone. Even though Billie is a nice guy if he doesn't want to be bothered then you have to respect that. Politely ask for a autograph or picture and then leave. Don't yell in his face with a mega phone and put it on tape - especially when your parody is not even that funny.

And this one's pretty hilarious, too:

Sorry, but this video need to be filed in the "NOT FUNNY" files. The part where Billie Joe says, "You got the wrong guy" was the only slightly humorous thing about it. I'm inclined to agree with the Baby Doll below. The out take video from SNL with Will Farrell was much funnier. Billie Joe was cracking up the whole time. This video he barely cracks a smile. And yes, I did get the feeling he looked pissed even before mega phone man went up to him. If you are a celebrity it is hard to go unnoticed in NYC, but Baby Doll makes a point. If you see a celebrity and they look like they don't look happy to begin with then just ask for an autograph or picture and leave, don't make a pest of yourself. But screaming at someone in there face with a mega phone can piss off even the nicest celebrities like Billie Joe.

... But then again, this particular girl gets worked up about everything, so it actually kinda cuts the funny down a bit.

Oh, and GDA should've included the credits of the show, where Billie Joe laughs at the guy! Then maybe they wouldn't've had to close the comments because of all the fury being unleashed ...

is it?? Jaysus I thought it was all real to provoke a genuine bemused reaction. But then I assumed he told him at the end that it was just all a joke.

Haha, on GDA they're just waiting to unleash fury at any opportunity. There's no stopping it!

Yeah that's what I thought at first, but it's a comedy show. Right at the end in the credits there's another little clip of Billie chuckling, somewhere in this thread there's a link to the whole show where you can see it. Defo in on it by the end, at the very least.

Me too! I'm sure he would have joked with the weird guy or something (?)

And Billie denying he was Billie Joe was so funny! xD
