TAG Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 yeah but who knows, maybe theyll have a "secret show" or something else while he/they're here...... no one usually knows anything really lol
plaid ducky Posted July 13, 2010 Author Posted July 13, 2010 Seats are available to Row R at the moment. I haven't seen any side orchestra so maybe that's the next section that goes instead of the balcony. ETA: If you enter "E15" in the discount box, you'll get an additional 15% off.
HoneyDo666 Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Damn my school for being in Williamsburg, VA! Ah well, hopefully someone will post a video...
Velocity Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Could the tickets be $29 because 92y is a charity/nonprofit/etc? If that's the case, I don't really mind paying.
TAG Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 yeah because it also asks you if you want to donate more money to it
Zalex Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 it's not the 30 bucks i am mad about i am just mad that he can do this in new york but they can't do a show? holy fuck wtf is wrong with you they are just going to be finishing up a u.s. tour getting ready for a south american tour. they just played 2 foxboro shows in new york. we've been spoiled as fuck, so stop bitching. and who said the rest of them will even be here?

Mommy's Little Nightmare Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 holy fuck wtf is wrong with you they are just going to be finishing up a u.s. tour getting ready for a south american tour. they just played 2 foxboro shows in new york. we've been spoiled as fuck, so stop bitching. Agreed. Not to mention the month they spent here when the musical started. So there's not a Green Day show. Who cares? We've gotten EVERYTHING else.
nicicky Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 And it's not like the shows in the surrounding states are really that hard to get to, right? NJ? There's one in Connecticut? Hop on a train. Also, I bought a ticket for this interview yesterday before speaking to my boss, and found out this morning that I can't have this day off. So would anyone like to buy my ticket? I have a paypal for payment and can post it to you via express once I receive it. Or, I can get the cash off you in person next month, I'll be in NYC August 14th - 17th. The ticket is row G, seat 107. $31 is what I paid, but I'll take any good offer. PM me please
Mommy's Little Nightmare Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 And it's not like the shows in the surrounding states are really that hard to get to, right? NJ? There's one in Connecticut? Hop on a train. Right.
ksquish Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 holy fuck wtf is wrong with you they are just going to be finishing up a u.s. tour getting ready for a south american tour. they just played 2 foxboro shows in new york. we've been spoiled as fuck, so stop bitching. and who said the rest of them will even be here? Why are you being so rude? Honestly, your reaction to his/her frustration does not match up. I don't think they should play a show and NYC has been very spoiled, but you need to calm down. Saying "holy fuck, what the fuck is wrong with you" and "stop bitching" for having an opinion isn't cool. If I saw anyone else post this I would respond, it's not just because it's you. On a completely different note, I am going to this yaaaaaay~. I will be sitting with colormestoopid and TAG.
Opezi Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 i might be going! omfg! Oh, okay. We probably overloaded their website. Thanks! yea haha, all these gd fans just came swarming on their website, they didnt know what to do
ksquish Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 i might be going! omfg! yea haha, all these gd fans just came swarming on their website, they didnt know what to do I feel like that happens a lot with these things. WE'RE OVERWHELMINGGGGGG. (in a good way, of course)

I don't know Zalex, but have seen her come across as being really unnecessarily angry a few different times with people now.
Mommy's Little Nightmare Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I kinda agree with what she said. I can see where you're coming from with the overreaction bit, but like... we have been spoiled. They don't have to play a show here. We've gotten the meet and greet the day the album came out, had pretty much a whole month with them here for the opening of the musical, had the FBHT shows, and now we're getting this thing in September. It's awesome that they've been here as much as they have, and I'm uber-happy with the lovin' Green Day have shown us. And excited as fuck for September!
nicicky Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I agree with her, she's definitely right. Just didn't think there was the need for the "what the fuck is wrong with you?" that's all. It was only someone's opinion.

mallorymaloney Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Wish I had the money to buy a passport and the means to get to New York, man.
nicicky Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 But I bet there's accommodation in those places. If you can't afford it, wait/sleep at the train station overnight. Lots of people do this. If I were in a position where the train timetable was the only thing keeping me from seeing them, I'd be more than willing to sit it out for a few hours in the waiting room. Edit: this was in reply to jetsrule.
Mari91 Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 um i doubt theres trains at 1 am back to new york depends on what youre traveling on some LIRR trains run all night long along with some Metro North. not too sure about NJ Transit though and the Subway runs at all times Back to the interview...who's going? im going! hope you're able to go as well
TAG Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I don't understand why everyone feels the need to be so bitchy constantly. 1. If you can't afford it, then there's nothing really any of us can do or that GD can do. 2. Green Day already does so much constantly with tours, secret shows, etc to be worrying about that they should be playing yet another show. 3. If no one has nothing nice to say, then don't say anything at all. None of us can control what GD does.
Moffie Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 hope you're able to go as well I hope so, as well! I'll be in NYC by that time but I don't have the money for the ticket right now. I'm crossing my fingers for something!

I said I agreed with her, but the way she said it was out of line. Just because we (I guess I kind of count, since I go to all these things) have been spoiled, doesn't give us the right to be mean to people. Back on topic... I am excited about this. I'll be taking classes in Boston and I'll probably be exhausted Monday morning, but thats what coffee is for, eh?
