One day we had a lock in, which is where we all get locked in at the school and we just have a massive sleepover. At 2am our teacher (which is my history and he is awesome) decided to take us over to gym to make us stay awake. (earlier that day we had to do a civil war project.We had to show pictures of civil war and put that to a rock song. I of course did 21 guns. After class my teacher called me over and we just started talking about green day for about 8 mins. His favorite album is american idiot and he thinks its beautiful and well thought out. When i saw american idiot on broadway, i bought a program just for him.) so we started playing kick ball and the ball came straight at me. So i caught it the wrong way and broke my hand and all my fingers. Ow. So i ran to my teacher and said something happended to my hand. I showed him my hand and he ran me over to the athletic room for some ice. Right then i started crying my eyes out. (i was 13 and the first time i ever broke a bone) when my friends heard me crying my 2 best friends ran over to me. My teacher knowling i love green day started singing every song off american idiot. I sang along with him. My one friend only knows brain stew and good riddence and the other only knows songs of 21st century breakdown. They all sang all the way to the emergency room. That really helped ease the pain. My history teacher also sent me texts of billie joe, mike, and tre quotes all through the weekend. Then when i went back to school after the weekend, everyone there (70 people) all made me a huge card with billie, mike, and tre is the middle and lyrics all around it and they all signed it. It'd be cool if they decided for the supposed movie and St. Jimmy was a completely different person and the movie was based on the story more than the music, the kid who played JOS/Jimmy in the JOS music video would be perfect for SJ. I don't know if he still looks young/unhealthy-esque but if Tom Hanks' Production Team could build a time machine and go back about 5 years, it would be perfect.
