Sometimes you just read what you think there should be printed I guess. Sometimes my mind plays tricks on me. Meh, I'm going to stick with 'We are the class of, the class of thirteen!'. I've gotten so used to it by now. I was actually completely wrong on that one --- I was getting confused with the demo version as opposed to the album version. In the demo it's 'We are the cries of, the class of,' but in the album version it's just 'We are the class of, the class of'. My bad! A few members corrected me on that one when I first posted it, haha. Quote

All this time Billie's been singing 'there is no place like home, when you've got no place to go'. So this explains a lot. I had the demo version first too: the changes in lyrics still confuse me all the time... I still sing 'bleed America bleed' instead of 'scream' at the end. Quote

When I found that out a month ago or however long ago it was I listened over and over and couldn't hear it properly. It just sounds like Billie groaning a bit and I think I hear 'one two' in there. Playing Rock Band the other day I discovered loads that I sing wrong, I'll have to play it again and write down the ones I don't know cause I can't remember them now. Quote

But I suppose "lies" makes more sense. I had this one wrong too. Actually I haven't been trolling this thread lately. I wonder how many lyrics I've flubbed. In 94, before it was so easy to just look up lyrics, I HAD NO IDEA what "feel like social tool with out a use" was so I literally just sang some sort of gibberish there for a decade or so. I think I used to say "feeling like a so so dog without a clue". Knew it was wrong, but had to sing something, right? Quote
