When my friend was trying to sing Jesus of Suburbua she belted out "I JUST SAW THE REGINALD!" (when he says "I'm the son of rage and love) I laughed at her for days.

And when Good Riddance first came out I thought the lyrics were "It's someone unperdictable. And indian whose right."

my boyfriend always says the line in AFIs song love like winter "it's in the blood" wrong. He says "into the blood." It fucking pisses me off.

Well--

Pink Floyd "Brain Damage"

Actual Words: "And if your head explodes with dark foboding tunes..."

What I heard: "And if your head explodes into dogs for bones to chew..."

Seriosuly.

the new fallout boy song ... well, all the fallout boy songs,

does he say:

" also evil, also into cats" ?

I don't want to look up the real lyrics because it'll ruin all the fun of hating fallout boy...

Get jiggy with it by will smith. i always thought it said "get jiggy wegga." and then in who wrote holden caulfield i thought it was. "theres a boy who walks this world and now hes getting lazy."

That holden caulfield sounds like it's right...

Are you sure?

Gettin' jiggy wit it. That's my song.

i always thought in dance dance by fob it said "why don't you show me, lil bit of spine you've been savin for his beda rest, lah!"

and in American idiot i thought it said "convincing them to walk you"

i do it ALL THE TIME i just can't remember any of them now.

^ I thought it was 'walk you' when he says 'argue,' too.

I always thought 'Drowns all the boys and girls inside your bed' was 'inside your head' and 'Kick me like a stray' was 'Kick me like a slave' from This Is How I Disappear and House of Wolves.

not funny though.

I can get lyrics wrong, but sometimes I like my version too :P

And for a long time I thought Mary-Jane was just a name

for a very long time I thought it was "on a steapy diet of" instead of "steady", 'cause back then I didn't know english very well and because in the AI booklet it sort of looks like a P where there's a D. well the fun in it was that I got so pissed everytime I read lyrics on the internet that said "steady" and sent emails and everything to correct them :pinch: yeah I was stupid back then. well I still basically am but...

lol thats pretty funny about the A.I. one. In Time Of Your Life I thought it said turnip boy instead of Turning Point! I cant think of it any other way now!

Wow lots.

Usually when I dont know the words, I make up my own, and its never the same each time I hear the song.

Instead of "how bizzare" I thought it was "help is on"

in boulevard of broken dreams when billie sings "I walk alone" i thought he sang "I wore cologne"

haha i thought the same thing but opposite in blink-182's "what's my age again"..." i took her out it was a friday night/ we walked alone/ to get the feelin right..." <--- that's what i thought it was

but it's actually

" i took her out/ it was a friday night/ i wore cologne/ to get the feelin right.." :P

no, i think the funniest misconstrued lyrics i've heard would be:

*when my sister was like 4 she thought that "better days" song was " i ate devil rays" instead of "i've seen better days..."

* my friend thought that in blood sex and booze billie says " i'm gonna get so tubular..." instead of " i've got a lesson to be learned"

* and that blue song by eiffel 65... i still don't know what the hell they're saying- my friend thinks its "i'm in need of a dime.." or then there's " if i was green i would die" or " i'm in need to a diet"...:P

Same thing. :P

I was looking at that site and that one lyric "Cuz I ain't no Harlem black girl" is now officially nesting in my sig. Fun Fun.

On Rancid's song ghetto box i thought lars was singing something about a canine eunuch instead of a canine unit.

In Franz Ferdinands Michael: Instead of Michael waiting on a silver platter, i heard Michael WAY on a silver platter.

Umm... i heard "i wear cologne" instead of " i walk alone"
