It kept me entertained for about an hour or so, ha. btw: I'm all for that Green Day camp/cruise idea! It's actually great you're not talking about Green Day all the time, it makes the whole thing more enjoyable. Yeah, I agree.

Try hitting "refresh" on your podcast subscription page. My itunes doesn't automatically download the new podcast episodes, so I have to hit refresh at the bottom.

But she had TONS of hits back around like 2006 or so. I mean, obviously she was no Madonna or anything, but she was pretty well known.

One of the things I said early on was that I kinda liked that no everyone could associate my voice with my (typed) words, because I think I'm much more threatening when people don't realize how ridiculous and non-scary my voice is.

I see it kind of as the same but just never worded it as nicely about majors dying out and there's really nothing new coming out that can sustain the industry after the bigger bands eventually leave or split or die. Another great show. =] Also, Shaun of the Dead quotes make me a very very happy listener indeed.

I like to believe Green Day are as close as we're going to get to having a Zeppelin, or perhaps more relevantly Who, this generation, and I feel like we were totally cheated in terms of culture this generation! NOTHINGS NEW, and you're right, the record industry isn't a fertile place for progression in rock! Thank you Green Day for mattering, I sayz, major label or not.

This. whenever i read angry posts now, i imagine his voice, and depending on the mood i am, ill make a loud PFFFT or "awwwh " i hope this doesnt become like picture of the day, where you all update the podcast too frequently, run out of ideas, then its on indefinite hiatus. please dont bring back picture of the day. keep the podcast
