leacalifornia Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 I love this! Its kinda nice having a voice to put to a face.... I feel like I know you guys better. cant wait for more!!
Maura99 Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Listened to it a few days ago... it was a really good listen It's really long though... although I was surprised how fast the time past. Must be your soothing voices Just a little point of constructive criticism: when you talk about an interview, actually listen to the whole thing in advance That NPR-interview with BJ is one of the best I've ever heard, I feel like you could've gone a lot more 'in depth' with it; but idk, maybe that wasn't your whole point after all... But, to sum up, I'm liking this so far... really really good idea...! Looking forward to the next one
Fuzz Posted June 7, 2010 Author Posted June 7, 2010 Thanks for the feedback. I did listen to the whole NPR interview, but I think I was just too nervous to really have a clue about what we were doing. We don't plan out our conversations too much, because it don't want it to feel scripted. So we have a list of topics to talk about, but we don't specify how much we want to talk about each item - we just see what happens. After a few episodes I know we'll get better as we get a feel for how things will turn out.
insomniac_pt Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Congrats! This is really simple but interesting: two guys having a fun and relaxed convesation about Green Day. Keep it up dudes!
Bastard of 1967 Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Skype We actually recorded each other's tracks separately and then combined them, but we were on Skype so that we could hear each other talk. And for future shows, where we have more people than just me and Andres, we'll record everything from Skype. Wow -- I'm actually stunned at how well it worked when you put it all together. I swear it sounded like you both were in the same room. So you both get some technical brownie points now too.
Moxy Crimefighter Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 I'm downloading this bitch now. Gah, this is so exciting, I just wish I could have helped out

badwolf Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 I love the way Alex says Rock Band. <3 And lol @ playing RB on expert is like riding a unicorn.
Heather! Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I FINALLY got around to listening to this... Alex, your voice is almost identical to a friend's of mine!
jos_whatsername Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I just listened to this yesterday and started laughing when you were talking about if you could say "fuck" in the show or not because you said it had to be "clean". And now listening to the recent episodes, saying fuck is the cleanest thing about the show but I reeeeeally enjoy listening to static noise !!
ganis Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 for some reason I've never listened to the first episode untill today.. (I started listening at the 3rd or 4th episode) and I just have to say that I almost fell of the chair laughing when Alex said "it's like riding a unicorn, you never forget" so much better than it's like riding a bike
