Ooh interesting. I sure hope so!

or he will perform where he is at and they will air it on the show.

Yeah I'm thinking that's most likely. They do stuff like that on awards shows all the time.

But how?? they will be in Europe..

If you look at their touring schedule, they have a three or four day break built into it around the Tonys, which is June 13. So, it's possible for them to fly back and forth really quickly. I would kinda doubt that Billie wouldn't want to be there somehow. Maybe.

Well they have a show the 12th in Austria and the Tony's are on the 13th and Green Day don't have another show until the 16th so its possible that BJA could fly back.

interesting. :sherlock:

I doubt he will fly over there. So either it's pretaped, he will perform through video message or something, or he won't perform at all.

And why should just he perform? I don't really trust this news.

btw, 13th June = my birthday!

I'm interested to see how this is gonna turn out...

Someone get Andres to ask Green Day's people if it's true or not.

I'd do it myself, but I'm way too lazy.

hmm...... interesting...

well......he could fly there and back if he wanted to. that's probably why they didn't say it was a definite maybe because they don't even know what's going on yet? who knows :runaround: guess we will have to wait and see!

Yeah, this seems possible, either via satellite or fly out to NYC for the night. That would be very cool!

Well, then, I hope there's a red eye in Billie's future so you could see him! :D

I mean, he is officially credited as the book writer, correct? So, it would make sense.

Well the article talking about Billie playing at the Tony's is on Green Day's official website so I think that's a pretty good hint that Billie's definitely going to be involved with it.

To answer those who are confused about how he could do it: A lot of things like that are pre-recorded despite the fact they claim it to be "Live". So he probably did it already. Or he could be preforming via satellite. One of those.

Would be cool if that happened. Like people already said, could be pre-recorded, via satellite etc.

and the 13th of June is my sister's birthday.

i have no idea im pretty confused as well
