I thought the whole interview was so interesting. Non-traditional questions and time for him to gather his thoughts and answer. He's a very interesting man that's lead a very interesting life. I like the person within the public image.

That was a great interview! it was nice really to hear an interview that's different from all the regulary ones.

"I don't think I got an email address until two years ago"

Much different from all the other ones I've heard and/or read.

What a brilliant interview, like a breath of fresh air for once.

maybe that's why they have "fresh air" in the title

oh shit it doesn't play :(

It won't play for me either :( It worked yesterday for a bit, I got as far as when she played Holiday, then it got stuck. Is there anywhere else to listen to this? =/

I didn't even realize that.....lmao

But listening to it again I really loved the part where Billie talked about Mike. It put a big on my face and gave me chills when he mentioned how from something as tragic as his father's death came a blessing that is his frienship with Mike.

he was so thoughtful, he didn't say so many umms and you knows. i loved how terry gross interviewed him, she was calm and let him speak

I really enjoyed this interview. For once I liked the interviewer, she asked good questions and didn't interrupt him all the time.

Terry's great at that. And whenever she was unclear about something, she let Billie talk and explain things, which I really liked, because it allowed him to talk about more of his experiences.

Is there a download link anywhere?

Press "download" which you can find under "add to playlist", using the link on the first post. Or alternatively, you will be able to download a version from the audio download links "Interviews" later today, with the songs edited out.

I really like this line. It's really true. It's morbid, and kind of puts you down to earth.

"In reality what you're doing there is you're sitting on a couch and just sort of seeing the world unfold and explode and lives being lost right in front of your very eyes", especially "seeing the world explode in front of your very eyes". I don't know what exactly it is, but it's just so .... well actually right what he explains right after it.

(oh...I didn't actually listen this three times, when I made my previous post, I stopped the thing after 4-ish minutes because I got distracted, I'm only now listening again)
