Am I the only one that thinks the interview felt awkward. There was something about it that i felt didn't flow all that smoothly. Maybe I'm just tired though.

I actually think the opposite, he was given time to think of what he really wanted to say without being interrupted. He can come off a bit bumbling sometimes, but that's really only because he knows he's going to be cut off or hasn't got time to form a proper answer.

Yeah you can tell he likes to take the time to choose his words carefully and express himself properly, but he's usually being hurried along by the interviewer. It was nice to have a change from that here. I suppose because he took advantage of the time he was given to contemplate the questions properly instead of just rushing in with a quick answer that could break the flow a bit, but I wouldn't say that made it awkward.

I appreciate the questions she asked too. she didn't ask all the generic ones everyone asks them, and it's obvious she took time before hand to know some background information. I really respect that. I bet that made it a lot more interesting and comfortable for him too. It has to be awkward to be interviewed by people who know nothing about you or your work.
