I love it! and J'net I loveed the video he takes the glasses from you! amazing he remembers you!
ANJI Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Yay! One of my favourites from the Tubbies! I also love the video for it too
Mar Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 This spooky little song, a Hallowe'en romance I love that you described this as a Halloween song. Every time I hear the Tubbies, particularly "Dark Side of Night," I feel like I'm walking around Cedar Point's Halloweekends, the songs for some reason scream Halloween to me! Adore this song. It's like a party with the sound and a date with the lyrics.
Guest Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 I love Mother Mary J'net those first two videos are so swesome, "this, this, this, this woman has been come to so many fucking shows"
Guest Charlotte. Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 I love Mother Mary! Possibly my favourite FBHT song
Isabel Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Bit "meh" about this, it's definitly not one of my favourites from STAR. I can't really think of anything else to say about it except, in Manchester when FHT came out and played their 3 song set, Bill..I mean The Rev kept looking down at us during this song and I was like "Yeah sorry, I just can't remember the words right now"
Marki. Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Mother Mary Love this song... <3 Oh well, too bad, who cares, it's all right. As long as we will stick together. This part gets me every time

Agija Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 It's probably my favorite Foxboro Hot Tubs song ever. It's just amazing.
Joy of suburbia. Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 this song makes me feel all fuzzy inside. <3 I LOVE the French intro in the beginning...it's just pure When I heard it live at Don Hills, I thought I was gonna melt... I mean, I could have melted from the heat inside, but still...that could have been one of the reasons too. Do you want to elope tonight? getting lost in the shadows that lyric makes me melt every time.
Ally Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Always reminds me of the foxies playing at Manchester. "My name is Reverend Stychrinne Twitch, and we are the proverbial Foxboro Hot Tubs"
sammykinz Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Love the Tubbies, although this probably isn't my favorite song from STAR - that'd be Ruby Room or STAR itself. I do really like the peppy ring it has to it, though, and the music video they made for it is pretty freakin' awesome.
sarita Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Oh well, too bad, who cares, it's all right... Definitely my favorite line of this song. I find this applies to me sometimes when I try to give off the impression that nothing really matters to me. . the "I don't care" attitude, when in reality my mind is going a hundred miles a minute. So many levels of meaning to this song- relationships, the church...It also makes me think of my being raised Catholic. You accept everything because that's what your parents taught you and then as you grow you begin to question, doubt, and form your own opinions about your beliefs. Anyways, end of rambling... Excellent choice for Song of the Week, J'net!
