I love this song right from the title - again an example of Billie's way of making words (or a number, in this case) have two meanings. It's such a sweet song - love the melody, too. It's so catchy and just drags you in right from the opening bass lines.

and I love how that word "away" lingers and then he says it a second time, as if he's really trying to emphasise his feelings.

I really can't write my thoughts about this song properly because it just wouldn't do it justice.

The intro is awesome. The lyrics are incredible. The bass and rest of the music = <3 I love the way Billie Joe sings this song and the emphasis he puts on certain words.

This song makes me all warm and fuzzy inside when I listen to it. xD

And I adore when Billie Joe substitutes "anyone" for "Adrienne".

This is definitely one of my favorite Green Day songs and the fact that it's about Adie appeals to the 80 teenie that I am. (:
