.katie. Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 They're nice, I'd probably get them if they weren't so expensive.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Is there any site that ships to Europe and has size 36? I searched for something but I'm really no good at finding websites...
Isabel Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 I got mine from the link posted on the previous page. Don't know if they have 36 though, didn't check. I just got a 32 because another pair of jeans I have says 32" so I was like "I'll go with that!" Hope they fit ok

Last time I checked those, they both didn't have 36, but now one of them has =D Now I have the task ahead of choosing a colour and convincing my parents €66 (damned shipping) isn't outrageously expensive. And hoping they don't call me crazy because I don't want to buy €30 pants, but over twice as expensive board shorts are okay.
elleponathue Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 ... This is weird. Billabong are originally an Australian brand, well know by Australians as a way too expensive, badly made in asian sweatshops brand. And Green Day have their own Billabong shorts now? I remember I paid $80 Australian for a pair of Billabong board shorts, and they fell apart after a month or two.
Isabel Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Mine arrived this morning! (super quick delivery! ) But just a point to note for anyone thinking of buying a pair; the sizing is quite small I think. I ordered a 32 because most of my jeans are a 32 waist...but these are much tighter than my other jeans. They still fit no problem at all, but I think I might send them back and ask for a 34...just because I like a bit of bagginess when it comes to shorts. So if you want a more comfy fit, I'd suggest opting for the bigger size P.S they look awesome though!!

Can you maybe take a picture, I'd like to see how they look when they're not all staged and spiffed up with professional lighting and cameras, haha. And are they actually smaller than 32 inch, or is there something else with them?
Isabel Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 I got the grey ones...but I've just put them into the envelope to be sent off, it's all taped up and stamped. Sorry They aren't as heavy as I thought they'd be. Like, they feel like swim shorts And they're really short, like they are much shorter than in the picture. In the picture it looks like they go down just under your knees but they are actually way above your knees. (Still look great though!) Nah, I'd say they are 32" but you know how some jeans/shorts/trousers in general are just a smaller fit than others? I think it's like that with these GD shorts. So I'm just requesting a bigger size because I like to feel more comfy in shorts where they nearly hang off me But I only ordered them on Friday and they came today so if I send them off later then I might get the new pair before the end of the week. I'll a take a picture for you then
Tre_Gina Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 I will take a pic and upload it soon. I got the darker ones.

I just want to know what I'm getting into before buying something that expensive, also since I'm just a little bit over 36 inch so I want to know if I'm better off with 36 or 38
Tre_Gina Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 oh and the size. I have got a 32. I have just measured them all the round the top whilst wearing them and they come to 34?! Is that where I should measure them or do the sizes always come up bigger?
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Voila! http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i246/Gina_photo/P1010830.jpg Thanks! They look just as awesome there as on the professional pictures =D Why is everyone saying they are so expensive. If you buy Billabong board shorts, they are $10 more than the non-Green-Day board shorts that are new w/o the Green Day (MSRP). See? Just because the other things are almost the same price, doesn't mean it's not expensive. For boardshorts they aren't that expensive, no (or well, for me it is more expensive because of the additional shipping I have to pay), but it's still a good €65 I have to scoop out ($82), which I think is a lot regardless of the price of other shorts. oh and the size. I have got a 32. I have just measured them all the round the top whilst wearing them and they come to 34?! Is that where I should measure them or do the sizes always come up bigger? Okay, thanks Then I know I'm probably fine with a 36. idk about if they always come up bigger, I guess that depends on the brand.
Ally Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Ya see, this is what happens when chicks buy board shorts. nothing wrong with girls buying boardshorts...well once we've figured out what size we need I want some shame there to expensive for me, normally i would be able to afford it but at the moment, i just can't afford them
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Woooo I got myself one of these babies
Eighty. Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 was someone able to get one of those outside the US?
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Nah, I actually bought it in a store here ('here' being the US) Can't believe my plan worked out, haha. But that still leaves two people (at least) who got them to Europe. on the topic of Green Day things in the US....I saw a MacBeth stand (those shoes Mike also does) and it had a big picture of Mike on it and also a pair of shoes that looked like they were Mike's, but even if they weren't they were awesome, and they were on sale (from $50 to $20, which is ridiculously cheap for shoes) but they were a size too small D: yeah sorry, I should've posted that in the MacBeth thread but it took me long enough to find this thread xD ^ Cool! Which ones? The dark one
insomniac_pt Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 I need a 40" inches one but i'm not sure where to find
keefe Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 I'm not a fan of of the shorts, they just look kind of cheap but I still would buy them! I actually walked by a Billabong store the other day and didn't even think about it. Oh well, I'll live.

In the US?? Oh man, I have to figure out how to get my hands on those! On the website, they're practically $100+, converting the currency (well, at least, last time I checked). Anyway, back on topic, I was just looking at those boardshorts a few days ago. I admit, they look pretty awesome! I'd get them if I had the cash.

I don't know if they're in every store, but I saw MacBeth stands in each of the three Journey's I've been to, and Mike's shoes in at least two of them (all in different states). Mike's shoes were always on sale, as well xD
Rachel Nimrod Armstrong Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 I had a pair of these the other day lol! woop a pair of "man shorts" yeah i know i'm a girl lol! but it was Green Day soo i wanted some havent worn them yet tho my dad thought i was wierd cause i orderd them lol!
