Ingrid Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 I've always really liked this song. It's one of those, "Yeah, I have felt this way before!" things to it. Sometimes it's hard to believe that this was written when they were about 18 or so. Wow, I'm 18 and I suck at writing stuff! Actually, the 1000 Hours EP was recorded in 1988 according to Wikipedia, so that would mean they were only 16 when they recorded Dry Ice..! That's one of the reasons I love this song so much, it completely blows my mind every time I remember how young they were back then and what they could accomplish at such a young age. But I also just adore the song in general, the lyrics are so sweet, and I love how nicely especially the 2nd verse flows. And of course the guitar solo <3 Might just be my favourite off of 1,039/SOSH.
