Someone said that if they keep making rock operas that people will think that they're writing the same album over and over again and I'm scared of that happening. I'll buy it too, and so will every other die hard Green Day fan, but Green Day doesn't deserve a tainted name. I really agree with this, as I know sometimes using the same music techniques continuously can sometimes cause repetition. However I'm also really happy that the guys have decided to do this, because I love FBHT and that type of music and as many have said I will also buy the album as a dedicated Green Day fan and will support the boys all the way!!

It reminds me of Nickelback's sexual songs *shivers* and yes I know, the irony of my opinions and my signature, but I chose that lyric in my sig because it's the only line of the song that I like SOOO I hope the new album is not a GD-FHT mashup keep it seperate pleez

But i'm definetely not sure I wanted ANOTHER rock opera... it's becoming boring and repetitive,y'now? And, i don't think that Green Day & Foxboro Hot Tubs should share their songs... they're different bands anyway Booooooooooo!!!! Another rock opera would be a little bit dissapointing and it's kinda them saying "we found something that was successful for us so we are sticking to it". We have already seen that alot of people thought it was wrong to do 2 rock operas in a row and to do 3 might just be going too far. If we also look at the reviews for the last 2 albums. AI got pretty much amazing reiews with basically everyone loving it, 21st CB got alot of good reviews but some people werent too pleased as it was another rock opera and some people even went digging for reasons to slate it, the next album (if it is a rock opera) will most likely get terrible reviews from general music fans and the press as it is a 3rd rock opera in a row and it will most likely be about a young man and a woman who fall in love and then all this bad stuff will happen to them etc etc etc and i worry that the people who arent lucky enough to understand the last 2 albums will start thinking that the band has just written the same album over and over again. Obviously as die hard fans we will all love the album but have our own thoughts on it that we might not all talk about. To be honest wouldnt it just be nice if it was a rock opera but have every song be cheerful and talk about the good point of falling in love instead of the bad things i'm agree with you, this is so true. I can't believe Billie's saying that 'we're good at it' (about rock operas) when he's always saying that they like challenges and try new things... The rock-operas sounds sooo 'green day'... Now they need to take risks with something very innovative! So anyway... no other rock opera can overcome American Idiot (in case they don't know)

Not sure how much this really tells us about their next album........sounds like they're just saying they like what they've done recently with rock operas and the Tubs, and they'd be happy to do those things again. Pretty vague, but excellent to know they feel that way! Any time they mention the Foxies it makes me happy because it just tells me they know they love it . More Foxies please. And a studio version of It's Fuck Time NOW please.

The only reason they ever even mention the next album is because interviewers ask them about it, they haven't really told us anything about what direction they'll go in. They probably don't know themselves yet. If we start waiting for it now we'll have a long wait!

I think each of their albums have had a certain uniqueness to them that is shown in their songs and that will continue with each of their albums to come.
