Isabel Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 My tattoo was inspired by this album. I just love it so much, words can't even express it aptly enough
FannyDefoe Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 great album, not my favourite...but every time I hear it I'm absolutely amazed I mean...as I think about it..they've been in their early 20's as they wrote it...that's my age now.. omg..it is pure GENIUS.. especially when I listen to Rest it's unbelievable. the drums somehow remid me of the Highlands (don't ask me why XD) and then the canon.. I have no idea how they put this song together . it's sooooo awesome! currently I'm addicted to 1000 hours. this is so lovely... every time I listen to it I'm just like " where is my musician who writes such a song for me!?!?" I just love it
Opezi Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 my all time favorite albume paper lanterns <3333333333333

iwroteholdencaulfield! Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Best fucking album ever (: this. This. THIS. THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
UnderClassHero Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Just because Tre wasn't in the band yet? yes how mean am i? but going to pasalacqua, i was there, dry ice and paper lanterns are flaming awesome. i actually had a listen and enjoyed it. serves me right for being so prejudiced
KillaMo187 Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 my fav album outta all of em. I was there, Dry ice, Only of you are my favorite songs.
secondGuessMe Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 This is honestly my favorite Green day album. I think it's because it was kind of their first album and the songs reflect me. I swear, I am a goofball, who loves to feel bad about myself, but then give myself to others. I don't know, this amazing album is just.... wow. My favorite song is "The Judge's Daughter".... it's really amazing. Cause he's like, "I'm trying to focus on my girlfriend, but this girl is making me tongue tied, so I'll sing about her." I think it's a really sweet song.
Ally Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Paper Lanterns= this has to be my all time favourite green day song, i love it so much
November's Storms Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Dry Ice and At The Library....they give me multiple eargasms! This album would truly rock balls if those songs were recorded on equipment they have now. Great songs but I don't like the sound. I know they were on shitty, inexpensive equipment back then so can't blame them for it! Those songs would rock!
Axel Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 The guitar solos in this album are fucking incredible for someone so young
*_Whatsername_* Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 This is one my favourite Green Day albums. I love how it's so different to American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown. Only Of You, Why Do You Want Him and I Want To Be Alone are my faves.
SweetChildren_ Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 I like this album a lot. A few of my favorite songs are Why Do You Want Him?, I Was There and Dry Ice.
st.idiot Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 im listening to this cd for the first time and it's awesome!! i don't have a fav song yet but i really like don't leave me or paper lanterns
xpoprocks&kittycatsx Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 My favorites out of this album are: At The Library, Going to Pasalacqua, 16, The Judge's Daughter, Paper Lanterns, 409 In Your Coffee Maker, 1000 Hours, and Dry Ice.
BUBBA7012 Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Not my favorite but its still fucking awesome my favs on this record 409 in your coffeemaker, I want to be alone, at the library, and disapearing boy. (Not in any order)
st.idiot Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 i just bought the cd yesterday and have listened to the whole thing more than once and i love the whole thing. i think it's a great first album and for me it's almost as if green day came out with a new album because it's so new to me. all i have to say is the only thing wrong with it is al sobrante. i mean he's a good drummer and all but if they hadn't made the switch i agree with billie-i don't think they would have gone anywhere-tre's the better choice by far.
♥PunkKitty♥ Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 This is my favorite Green Day album. It's just so awesome in so many ways. I love every song on this album except for The One I Want and Only of You. They're good songs, I just don't like them as much. Also, Disappearing Boy is probably my favorite song ever.
