nimr0d. Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 My favourite songs from this album ... At The LIbrary, Disappearing Boy, the song called "Green Day" and 16. I love all of the songs, this is like the best album
Nmd Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 Honestly, for some reason it took me awhile to really get into this album, but now I love it Going to Pasalacqua, Road to Acceptance, Disappearing Boy, & Rest are my favs
PasalacquaBomb Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Definitely the GD album which took me the longest time to get into .. But I can say there is no song that I don't like. And I can say that Going To Pasalaqua is probably my favorite Green Day song of all time and forever!
Eeefaa. Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 I'm going through an insane phase of this album right now I dont think I could fault a single song (except Rest, still dont like that one). I dont know, I guess its because there were around my age when they wrote it and I just feel like... wow. how the hell could they write something this fucking good?! like an entire album, not just one song, on their own. pffttt
waiting.a.lifetime Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 This isn't one of my favourite albums, but it's definetly a good one. there's depth, a lot more that what i would have expected of a band (and guys) so young. It kind of annoys me how this stuff doesn't get recognized...anyway, just an overall good album i'd have to say my favourite songs on it are 16, Going To Pasalaqua, and The One I Want. I like the drum intro of I Was There too This album always makes me think how Green Day would be different if John had stayed...it's kind of weird reading the blurb at the back about them, cause I'm so used to Tre. I'm going through an insane phase of this album right now I dont think I could fault a single song (except Rest, still dont like that one). I dont know, I guess its because there were around my age when they wrote it and I just feel like... wow. how the hell could they write something this fucking good?! like an entire album, not just one song, on their own. pffttt i don't really like Rest either :/ doesn't really fit with the whole album, in my opinion.
jimmy FOD Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 i was there \m/ going to pasalacqua \m/ don't leave me \m/ dissapearing boy \m/ 0-0 \m/ 1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours
Ellenkc Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 Currently addicted to playing this and Kerplunk. More relatable for me at the moment I guess. At The Library, 16, Going to Pasalaqua and 409 In Your Coffeemaker are my favorites. I have to admit 1000 hours annoys me, I honestly don't like it It's also a trip to see how Billie's voice has changed, did he put that nasally sound into it, or did he actually just sing like that?
KayNess Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 My dad accidental brought me this album when he first started using eBay, accidental win! I really like it, my favourite song is 'Knowledge' I don't know why though. - I think that explains it xD
CarolineGilman Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 i just bought the 2007 enchanced version with the bonus stuff on it. it arrived in the mail today and ive been listening to it all day! some of the videos and photos on the cd are awesome! i especially love this one, this one and this one
clairex Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I love this album, more for the sound than the songs. I also love Rest , it reminds me of The Rolling Stones
Billie Kristy Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Definitly a great album <3 Going to Pasalaqua and Disspaearing boy are my fave's.
Undómiel Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Have just downloaded this and am currently listening to it for the first time. So far so good. It's awesome!!
DecanoLP Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 omg... I just listened to Paper Lanterns and tears were running down my face... I never cried because of a song but I couldn't handle it... it just happened oO These lyrics mean so much to me at the moment. I could have written them... Definately one of their best songs... (Well, of course I could have not but you know what I mean )

TheBasketcase Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 I Love this album i bought it a few weeks ago at amoeba records in berkely along with kerplunk, live tracks (out of print and import) , insomniac, and the network cd. The best songs of this album have to be the judges daughter, 16, at the library, dry ice, disappearing boy and green day oh and i was there gets stuck in my head.
St. Jimmy 7234 Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 At The Library has got my all-time favorite Green Day riff. The one that plays under the verses. Geez... It's amazing!
iloveyouisntenough Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Love this album! It's one of my favorites for sure. My favorite songs on it are Paper Lanterns, At the Library, and 1,000 Hours.
ihaveapenisbitch! Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I can go for months and months without listing to this record but I always seem to come back to it <3 I always forget just how awesome that it is. Though to be honest I don't think its as underrated as Warning for example. Still I Was There reminds me of tour sodamn fucking much it hurts
