Not that this relates to much but I hate what Apple have done to the music industry. Fair enough, I love my iPod. I couldn't live without it but the iTunes Store... thats another story. People never seem to buy full albums anymore, they only buy the tracks that they've heard on the radio and I personally think this is unintelligent. An album is made to be listened to as one piece of art and each track is a different chapter in this bigger picture. American Idiot is the perfect example of this with it having a story running throughout and some of the tracks leaking into others. Now you'll get alot of people out there who would only download one or two tracks from that album and then would be missing out on the gold hidden within. I'm also not a fan of downloading in general because, going back to my point about an album as work of art, you have nothing to see in front of you, to hold and admire. I remember the days when I used to get physical copies of albums and look through the books that came with them and read the lyrics as I took in the music. It's just not the same anymore and it probably never will be again all because we live in a bored, lazy society that need things as quickly as they can get them.

I also completely agree with this. I may download something, but ONLY because I can't find a physical copy. I almost always buy CDs and records when given the chance, even if I already own the music. I love having a booklet of art/lyrics/whatever else to look through. I love being able to look at my piles of singles and showing them off. That said, I also love my iPod and appreciate having access to most music via my computer so that I can hear it while I look.

And that interview made me smile. I found it a few days ago. I completely agree with Tre, lol.

I dont even know wtf the damn thing does. Is it a mini computer? is it a larger iphone thingy? WTF does it do?

and i agree with Tre, it is stupid...even though i have no idea what it does or why people buy them.

thanks fort posting :)

i also think that the ipad is kinda stupid and i hate the idea with e-books. i would never want to read a book on a computer screen, i dont even think its healthy for your eyes..

btw i also buy the physical cd's i'm not into that itunes stuff tho i have an ipod

Haha, that was adorable.

And even if Tre has an iPhone... the iPad is just totally unecessary imo.

I found it odd though. It's such a natural jump from GDA to GDC. Especially if you read the comments with each new item.

Yeah, I get so sick of those eejets who are offended that Billie doesn't want their bras and think that the blonde girls in LOTAG are "offensive"

I love what Jimmy Carr said on some show about the ipad, "it's like if the people who invented the wheel said after a few years, "we've invented a slightly bigger wheel."

I hope they don't take over books with this kind of stuff, it's bad anough already with everybody downloading music all the time. :ermm:
