-Billiejoezee- Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 I have to admit I always skip Last Ride In. It makes me sleepy same here.
bjrules Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 I never used to like Extraordinary Girl, but last week it popped up on shuffle and I didn't skip it for once, and now I really love it! But Rest and Last Night On Earth are still songs that are my least favourite from GD.
StuckWithRob Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Quite a few of you misread the topic, the question being asked is your least favorite Green Day song, not which one you hate. My least favorite song by them is take back or jackass and horshoes hand grenades. Why don't you like Horseshoes and Handgrenades?
whowroteholdencaulfield? Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Christians Inferno. I always skip that song. Me too!I don't listen a lot the Sweet Children EP, but I like it. I don't like "Rest" and Christian's Inferno much :/
Prosthetic Brain Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 I always skip "Are We the Waiting" unless I'm making it a point to listen to American Idiot all the way through...it's just too slow and repetitive for me.
LauraG Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 I have to admit that I used to skip Letterbomb and Whatsername a lot ... but after seeing GD live, they became my favorite songs from AI!
GuitarPunk94 Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 even if D.U.I. didnt make it on shenanigans album..how can green day make such a song xD for me this song is just horrible
Ashley! Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Christians inferno, know your enemy (I like it it just gets waaay too repetative), and sweet children.
Nobody Likes Cam Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Hold On, Fashion Victim, Sassafras Roots, Armatage Shanks, Brat, Westbound Sign, Tight Wad Hill, Private Ale, Strangeland, Sweet Children, No One Knows, Best Thing In Town, Worry Rock, Last Ride In, Jinx, Prosthetic Head, most songs on Shenanigans, and most songs on 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours.
Mrs. Nobody Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 ^ gasp. I love Fashion Victim, well I like that whole album tbh I've never really listened properly to Kerplunk and 1039 but I think a few of them are definitely forgettable for me especially as I'm not a big fan of that 'raw' sound. I should listen to them properly though soon
burnout409 Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 I don't "Dislike" any songs, but there's a couple of songs that i skip from time to time, but then i do enjoy them when i'm in the right mode . Rest Rotting Last Ride In Last Night On Earth
Penguin Puffball Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Rest kinda bugs me. I think that's the only song I don't really like.
InvaderPhantom Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 ^ gasp. I should listen to them properly though soon WTF? You've been a Green Day fan since - how long? You have over 9000 (oh god ) posts on this forum and you registered 4 years ago - and you never listened to 1,039/SOSH and Kerplunk properly before? Poor soul... Shoo, listen to them now! NOW I SAY!!
Hermione Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 ^ gasp. I love Fashion Victim, well I like that whole album tbh I've never really listened properly to Kerplunk and 1039 but I think a few of them are definitely forgettable for me especially as I'm not a big fan of that 'raw' sound. I should listen to them properly though soon I remember when I first listened to Kerplunk it sounded REALLY raw, I was quite shocked . But I have to say that initial shock really does wear off when you listen to it more and get used to it. It's not nearly as raw sounding as it first seems, I barely notice any difference between the first two albums and the rest now. Not saying they'll become your favourites or anything but they definitely do sound better with more listens.
Harry Potter. Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Misery. It's the only Green Day song that I don't like.
pucky Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Last Night on Earth. I don't usually have problems with dull love songs, but this is probably their most boring song. It sounds too much pop and so typical...I don't even like the lyrics, every time I listen to it, I become diabetic.
StuckWithInsomnia Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Green Day, and most of 21stcb except for EJN, KYN, and horshoes n hand grenades
She is Amanda Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 meehhhh I don't know... Christians Inferno, Know Your Enemy, and Horseshoes and Handgrenades bug me... Prosthetic Head is another one i just can't listen too. And I might as well ad Last Ride In, I like it, but I get bored into the first 30 seconds....
Todd Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 You guys are killing me by hating on 39, 1000 Hours, and Sweet Children. Those are my absolute favorites. The song I hate the most is Minnesota Girl. It just sucks balls. Live and phone recording. Both suck
That Dude Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Haushinka, I think is my least favorite Green Day song, although it's not terrible.
Vic_Rattlehead Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 I have a few; Are We The Waiting Extraordinary Girl Outsider The Static Age See the Light Love everything else, those are just average
Todd Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 I have a few; Are We The Waiting Extraordinary Girl Outsider The Static Age See the Light Love everything else, those are just average Even though I love Ramones, I have to agree that GD's outsider is not well.
Sarcasm Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 even if D.U.I. didnt make it on shenanigans album..how can green day make such a song xD for me this song is just horrible I don't think you quite grasp the humor in the song I think it's Tre who made the setup and decided the sound, I think it's brilliant. I've never been a fan of Who Wrote Holden Caulfield. I think it's kind of a boring song inspired by a even more boring book which all in all is about a boy who's really, really bored.
Rusty Hart Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Just one, Christians inferno... i always skip that song... but love the Reff i don't know why....
