Disapperingirl Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Oh well, in this thread I can only speak about the songs I can't listen to ALL DAY ..I mean, I love every song, evey song has its story...I can't understand why so many people dislike 1000 hours, 39 smooth or kerplunk songs, I just love those albums...maybe the only one I've never listen to a lot is Last Ride In (Espionage is instrumental too, but it's sooo awesome and funny!!)..but all the songs from 21CBD (east jesus nowhere!!!why don't you like it??Live is fantastic..) american idiot, nimrod ecc are amazing...ok, I admit that, I only skip Rest...it causes anguish to me...

Or quite often any really "different" song so that includes the intrumentals. Not me though, the wide variety of songs is what I love most about Green Day. Espionage is fabulous! Best spy music ever.

Cant think of anything else i love most of the ones ye guys have mentioned! like No One Knows,Hashinka and See the light!
BreannaJoeArmstrong Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 I absolutely love pretty much all of these that everyone has listed, the only one I can agree with straight up disliking is Rotting, it makes me want to cry. I don't like thinking about what Billie might look like while singing it, he really does sound like he is dying and we can't have THAT. In general, I don't listen to Shenanigans much, pretty much because I can't seem to get into any of the songs, except Desensitized and Don't Wanna Fall In Love. I personally love 86, I don't see how anyone couldn't like that song, but to each his own Overall, none of Green Day's albums have been a disappointment to me.

Only within the last year or two I listened to 1039 and kerplunk properly and I really love them! The raw sound on them is just awesome but i use to just skip over any old school green day songs I use to hate desensitized but i think it was cause i don't like the intro. Really like it now.

But I'll have to say, Dominated Love Slave and All By Myself. I just don't get them, Tre Cool IS the greatest drummer ever, I dunno why he sung And Take Back. That's just. Ah! Sing Properly! :L

Jinx is awesome, F.O.D is my all time favorite, and Extraordinary girl once made me choke and almost cry. My least favorite song is all the covers on shenanigans..

Sadly, I also used to do that. But in the past year or so I've been listening to mostly the old stuff, and it's just so awesome!! I cannot hate any Green Day song. They're all just so incredible!!

I like the weird sounding intro and the "from a stone!" climax followed by that weird sounding bit again. I remember when we first heard it on this radio thing before the album came out, like the other 21st CB songs they played on there it seemed SO different to anything they'd done before with the falsetto and such. Now I'm more used to it it doesn't sound quite as different as it did then, but I still like it for the differences to their other stuff.

I know what you mean. they played to song so many times in the radio and also they put the music video so often that it's get too much. Same with BOBD... it's come to the point that the music video was on and I was like: 'no this again!' I still love this songs but I don't listen to them so often.
