I can't remember what it said but I just remember liking it since then! They compared to the Beatle's style of music and that it lightens up the album at Jimmy's only good experience in the album. So the rest I can agree with but not Extraordinary Girl! I think it's most of 1.039, Kerplunk for me. Haushinka, Take Back, Platypus, Jinx, F.O.D., Misery, and Deadbeat Holiday are also highly skippable. Are you crazy? Kerplunk is a fantastic album! I can agree with you about Haushinka and Misery but the rest you listed are great tracks! FOD is one of my favourite GD songs!

But I will say that I'm not to fond of the last 3 songs of kerplunk..from sweet children onward. Except for their version of my generation....I quite liked that.

I love Green Day's angry stuff like Take Back, FOD, Platypus etc. It proves they can be just as hardcore as any other punk group out there, and it is great if you want to let out your anger about something!! Take Back is my remedy! My least fav songs are probably Brain Stew (yes I said Brain Stew!), See The Light, Restless Heart Syndrome, Best Thing in Town or Bab Ulvas Who? I do like all those songs, I just don't love them! I'd have to say Welcome to Paradise (burnt out, I mean it's on two albums), Last Ride In and Espionage (the whole instrumental thing blows, I'll skip these every single time), Tired of Waiting (blah, blah, b l a h). NEVER skip Take Back Welcome to Paradise is my favourite Green Day song!! That bass solo rocks! Last Ride In is great to just chill to on a sunny day too! In my opinion he's a cute kid who sings feel good bubble gum crap, and I'm a suck. But in know way does it hinder me from being able to have a serious opinion on the definition of what everyone else considers good music. I know good music, Justin Beiber isn't it, but I still like him.

Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 I usually skip: Misery Boulevard of Broken Dreams Wake Me Up When September Ends I personally have no problem with BOBD or WMUWSE, but those are like the only two songs that my parents like from Green Day. But when they start singing it is NOT a pretty sight, especially with their accents and the fact that they barely know the lyrics. its just embarassing. aside from that, misery barely sounds like green day and it's a pretty weird song.
