I dunno, I'm still excited I guess. Just disappointed that some of GDs better material (IMO) is being replaced by what's better known. That and as a bassist (who dislikes all the other instruments in game), the current selection is gonna be pretty easy.

Curious to see how Good Riddence works, because I would never put that song in a BAND game. Seeing how it's a guitar and vocals...great fun for the bass and drums

I know what you mean about the bass part. Only instrument I can do some songs on Hard for. I wish they had a few lesser known songs but frankly, when I think about that, I think to myself, "Hey.. we got the game. That's fine." But yeah if they make a second one (which would be awesome but they're probably never gonna do), I'd hope they'd add some more lesser known songs. That would be awesome!!

A few more songs from Warning would be nice. Songs that didn't become singles in general like Westbound Sign, 86, Scattered, and as I said, more Warning!

Idk, I can see where they're coming from in putting their 3 most succesful albums on it. Those are the songs more people are likely to know and therefore want to play.

Sure, there could be more from other albums but they can't put every single song on it. No matter what they do, someone somewhere isn't going to be happy and by putting their 3 most popular albums in their entirity then that's appealing to the majority of customers.

And the songs: 21st CB and most of the American Idiot is awesome(I think Are we the waiting is a little boring to play, but if it kicks into St Jimmy it would be awesome), Dookie are a few good songs, too, but I don't need this.

I know I should be happy that a game of Green Day will come out, but I don't like that I have to pay 10$ to buy the Kerplunk album or whatever...if they will even do this!

No. Well I like it, but I think they should've included more older songs. There aren't even songs in there from 1,039SOSH and Kerplunk! But great they included Dookie and AI, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact they added Warning

I like it but i honestly thought there would be more songs off other albums, dookie, AI and 21stCB all have good songs but i dont think the whole albums needed to be put on, then some other songs could have been put on, like Waiting and Stuck With Me, idk i think it just needs more of the less known songs rather than have the whole lot as ones people already know really well, a mix of popular and lesser known always seems a good combo to me

after reading through all the comments and people saying about DLC and theyre dissapointed theres no pre dookie stuff

i think theres a very good chance hey will release alot of other songs DLC

i think they did DLC for full beatles albums

and there were other bands who had full albums in the music store

so hopefully they'll release some from 1039/kerplunk and more from insomniac,nimrod,warning and maybe even some b-sides

I agree I think that they should have included Gilman in the game. BUT! You have to remember that they would have needed to get Gilman's permission to put their place in the game. If they did not want it in the game there is nothing we can do about that.

There is a few reasons that I came up with why these albums are not in the game.

1. The quality of the recordings is not the best.

2. There may not be actual multi tracks to these albums anymore since they were not signed to Warner at this time so they could have been lost.

3. Most people do not know about these albums / know any songs off of them.

Not sure if any of those are the real reasons, but those are just some ideas.
