If I somehow figure out who did that I would so interrogate them and tape them about it and then put it on Youtube. Don't want people to know shit don't do shit in public!

I find this disrespectful to be honest. When one pays good money to see a show that they have been looking forward to for a long time, the LAST fucking thing they want is to see someone giving head. I mean seriously. Do that shit in your own fucking homes.

i know it elli.....i dont know.......im pretty sure those 2 are fans anyways or they wouldnt have gone to see the musical.......and im pretty sure they didnt want to be rude to the cast or whatever but if the people around them really would have been THAT pissed of tehy would have told them to stop so yeah no need for hate around here......

What does Broadway stand for? I think it's funny too but what does this comment mean? Broadway stands for a place where people can get together with loved ones and watch live performances of a medium that has existed since the days of Socrates to Shakespeare.

FTR, musicals is one of Billie-Joes favorite things. "Take a shit on Broadway and all it stands for".

nice for Billie Joe but musical is not really my thing and the person you answered doesn't like it too I would say

Then they shouldn't make themselves publicly known about what they did. Therefore think before doing something that can ultimately make you look bad. I do see that as disrespectful to the people around them as well as the actors. No one probably said anything because they'd be embarrassed and too many people hold their tongues when they have problems these days, but if I was there I would've told them to leave and made them leave. I wouldn't want to see that shit when 'm trying to enjoy an actual show! I mean it's a 90 minute show. It's about the same length as a normal movie they really couldn't wait? Plus I think it makes other Green Day Fans look bad if the two were actually Green Day Fans and not just "Oh there's a play let's go" kind of people. But most people are going to group those who go to see it as GD fans and it makes US look bad because god forbid anyone notice an appropriate thing a GD fan does.

I doubt you would if you'd paid good money for a ticket & you had to put up with these two morons.

I completely agree. It is distracting for people sat behind them, if the woman keeps bending up and down  If I was sat behind them I would tell them both to go to the toilets if they can't contain themselves.

I think so too, if they were too loud and would annoy me I would tell them to stop this.

yeah thats why i dont see the big deal in all this.......you all act like they were bad people because of this and have to be punished....... :/

That's all fine and dandy. FTR, again, I am not offended and would like to have been sitting in the seat right next to them and would have laughed my ass off. That doesn't mean that the comment taking a shit on broadway has some validity.

I don't like opera, but I'm not going to go say that opera "stands for something bad" because I don't enjoy it. Just a little logic is all. Don't care. Probably shouldn't have made the comment, it wasn't in anger. I was just curious how someone could have a problem with the establishment of "Broadway". Ha. Whatever works.

it doesn't stand for something bad, I think it stands for something high class

Calm down  its just a joke.

No matter where you come from, you can be classy. That is not classy. That is the epitome of trashy.

Theater is plenty welcoming; it's like escaping into a fantasy for 2 hours. Who doesn't want to do that?

I totally agree with you, class and classy don't necessarily go hand in hand, Punk and Rock music and it's fans have always had a bad reputation, with this kind of behaviour don't you think its easy to see why stigmas and stereotypes stick and why people believe them?

See, this is why I dress like a girl when I go to the theatre. None of you knew it was me!

LOL, I was just about to say that it would have been even better if it had been two guys instead of a guy and a girl... :eyebrow:

Oh come on people, it's not like it happens at every show! I'm sure the people who were offended by it won't blame it on Green Day or anything.

Posted

Omg  I'd be pretty pissed off if I was sat beside them though

I couldnt believe it when I read this! lmao!

but I hope this doesnt affect the show :o

are you a conservative american or what?

I'm just not a fan of voyeurism, is what.

So then don't look.

I don't like drugs, but I don't get bitchy at the people smoking weed next to me at a Green Day concert. They can do whatever the hell they want.

Giving head at a Broadway show is only slightly different than having a smoke at a concert.

Well, it's nothing compared to what happened at a Papa Roach show. I heard that someone took a shit right in the middle of the audience.

D: i would die lol.

 First thing I thought was "Why would she do that?! she can't watch the show from down there!"

As funny as it is, it's also really disrespectful. When actors are there putting on a show you gotta give them your respect and attention. It's like booing them, or answering your phone during the performance. And yes, it's not too classy.

So now when people see a Broadway show the announcement before hand will be:

"No flash photography and please try to keep your pants on"

Yeah, imagine standing next to that person and seeing them drop their pants to take a dump...

Ew.
