That was SHORT. The whole thing was just a huge rush. Still, always nice to see the boys. LOL at Billie's chair being lower, and at Tre sitting on that high sofa with his legs swinging around.

The reason Tre was coming out was to check out Qwes-Love (Roots drummer). He's highly regarded as one of the best drummers on the circuit, as is Tre. That's an interesting thing to know that Tre was checking him out. I still can't understand how The Roots have been relegated to back band for Fallon. This is the purest, baddest, and most artistic hip hop band ever. Check out the song "You Got Me" (Roots featuring Erakah Badhu (sp?) and I promise, you'll all be fans. Their bassist is a bad ass too,

I love The Roots . I had no idea they were the houseband on some annoying, unfunny person's show now . That really is quite horrifying.

i never got to write about this yesterday...idk if mariann did already

we got our tickets at 3...me mariann and my friend jess. when we got inside the studio, the dude sat us in the front row on the left, so we were infront of jimmy's desk-ish area.

tre kept coming out, and he said hello to us. i believe we were like the only ones there for GD from what i could tell. it was really cool and fun. im glad it was an interview since i feel like they usually always perform when theyre on talk shows etc

I'm actually quite excited for Rock Band: Green Day after watching this interview. Hopefully the American Idiot Musical comes to Australia sometime in the near future... wishful thinking, I know.

It seems like the more and more they talk about it in interviews the more and more it becomes unraveled that the whole "masters being stolen" story was just a way around saying they were unsatisfied with the demos/album tracking they had been doing up until that point. In the past few months, we've already gotten official word that they weren't necessarily "stolen" AND that Too Much Too Soon was taken from the "Cigarettes & Valentines" sessions. Hopefully if it keeps getting brought up like this GD will break down and just release some more of those "lost" tracks already!

yeah its weird everytime its brought up I've noticed Billie says something different like Its hidden under a couch or something. haha

I also think chances are if it was stolen we would've heard something about it popping up by now...
