November's Storms Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 I've seen them twice, in Dublin in 2009 and 2010. For those of you who haven't seen them, it is well worth whatever the price of the ticket is! They are the best live band I have ever seen! And that is no understatement.

Tom Higgs Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 Not knowing much about concerts until I found out that Green Day played live at MKB which annoyed me a lot I missed them then, tried to get tickets for the 1st part of the 21st Century Breakdown Tour but failed (sold out too fast) so I missed them again. But seriously it was crazy, I told my friend after that I'll wait for them to come to Wembley and you know what? A day later they announced a date there! I was like "OH MY GOD, MY WISHES HAVE BEEN GRANTED!" As for the concert, I gotta say that Green Day have the best fans I have EVER EVER met, HANDS DOWN. It's like everyone's your best mate (shame I didn't keep in contact with the lovely people I met - a guy from London and a group from Scarborough)! But above all, nothing (except Iron Maiden at Twickenham) beats that concert. Nothing. If you're a GD fan and you think they play poor live shows, I SAY GET A LIFE! Ha! 2nd best concert EVER!

Posted July 5, 2010 Posted July 5, 2010 Saw them once on the American Idiot tour, 8 times last year and did Wembley this year I often get a weird look when people I work with ask me if I'm going to see them live again.. the things is, they don't quite get that this band are a band you have to see more than once (if you can). It's more than just the band, it's the fans, the friends that make the show more special

When I think about it I'm really grateful that I've had the opportunity to do that but my constant need to see them doesn't really allow me to just be happy with what I've had Definitely just the best three days of my life and the thing is, its been even more amazing each time - I hope when I've seen them lots of times I can still say that, haha, although I don't think it'll be possible..
