djrossstar Posted April 7, 2010 Author Posted April 7, 2010 Any update on this? HAVEN'T found anyone else with pit tickets. Just people on ebay selling them for literally up to $1400.
downontelegraph Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 well damn, this is the only show that (so far) seems like i'll be able to go to, and now i find out theres no freaking pit tickets. after reading all your comments, i agree with the majority, it does seem pretty weird that only 1 person here got pit tickets. seats just don't compare to the pit
syl Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 What about people saying they heard about one person here, one person there getting 'em, though ...? Unless they were completely cleaned out by resellers/scalpers and not fans at all ...? I would not be one bit surprised if they did that...how else can floor tickets sell out in matter of seconds? Its one thing to be sold out to real fans but for presales and scalpers, not thats pretty shiity if you ask me, they would rather gouce fans with money, i have seen those ticket prices and they sell them as high from $600 to 1000 or more. I heard that ticketmaster is under investigation now, well I hope they get caught soon and put a stop to this craphttp://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29108850/ http://www.justice.gov/atr/contact/newcase.htm Take a look at this
Blu Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 To be honest, I'm not sure the venue has a pit. I've been there before. It's about 15 minutes from here by side streets instead of the freeway. I don't recall seeing a pit versus all the seats and the lawn (don't get lawn seats, that's the worst idea possible, trust me). Maybe they'll convert part of the venue into a pit for the concert so those of you who have certain close to the stage seats might have pit tickets and not know it. You could call the venue and ask. It can't hurt to call them. 8808 Irvine Center Drive Irvine, CA 92618 (949) 855-8095 I'm okay with my tickets not being pit.

Blu Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 There is a pit. Then it's small. It'll at least be small for a Green day concert.
Track17 Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 the thing with this venue is the pit is SUPER SMALL, i kno if any of u r going ur going to be surprised. I think its one of the reasons why green day doesnt play in orange county much, compared to other bands. If u get Orchestra that is pit u can get into the pit. maybe. the pit cant get any bigger because im pretty sure the seats are bolted down. i've been there a few times and havent seen the pit get any bigger. the venue is literally built on the side of a hill so i mean any seat u get is going to be good. One of the few times i went i had lawn. i still had a blast. and i bet if some people get lawn, which is $20!! u can not bet that, u'll still have fun because green day just knows how to rock ur socks off no matter what seat u have.
