Then I bought Dookie on CD followed by all the rest, forcing myself to leave at least a month in between each one so I could savour each album . Then I finally splashed out on an American Idiot CD.

james.england121 Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Actual CD would have been Dookie, Insomniac or International Superhits, about 2 weeks after I downloaded American Idiot from iTunes and ever since then Green Day have been one of not many bands that I can listen to for AGES and not get bored. They were on offer at ASDA! Feels so long ago... probably 6 years, back when I was 12. Jesus....

Took me like a year to get all their albums cause I wanted to wait a while between getting each album so I could get to know each one better. And I had to download the first 2 albums on iTunes because back in '05/'06 the CD's were out of print for a while (got the cds since then though :]) 1. American Idiot 2. Dookie 3. Nimrod 4. Next I had to put away our tickets from the Kansas City show (10/12/09!!!!!) and found his FREAKING SIGNED copy of Dookie that he "forgot" about. Now his old copy of International Superhits, Dookie, AI, BIAB, and 21CB are in my room and taken care of

After about 2 months of having it my mom heard it playing and took it to listen to and then threw it away because she thought the lyrics were bad for me to hear at that age... Then I got International Superhits and my mom finally started to approve so I got Dookie again... Then after AI came out I started to become a huge fan of theirs and got all the rest of the albums within a few days at some point...

International superhits (2008) 3. American Idiot (2009) 2. 21st century breakdown (2009) 3. Warning (2009) 4. Kerplunk (2010) 5. American idiot broadway cast (2010) 6. 1039 S/O/S/H 7. Shenanigans (present, 2010) still waiting for dookie/nimrod/insomniac to complete my collection xD i have the albums digitally, but yanno, it's not the same.
