I'm not surprised that, yet again, they're sticking up for something they believe in, but every time they do- it always gets me really emotional. I always think I couldn't look up to them anymore than I do, and then they do something else and prove me wrong.

So instead of going to a prom where you know you're not wanted, they get to go to one sponsered by the boys themselves . Special guest appearance?

Oh yes How ridiculous that this level of prejudice and discrimination is still exists in this day and age. Good on everyone organizing and supporting this, such a great idea.
OMNatalie Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Glad to hear Green Day supporting this. Im glad to live in the UK where I think it is becoming more and more acceptable to be LGBT. It sucks that some countries/states/places are still so backwards about it all.

And now one of my fave bands (Green Day, obvs) is doing something about it for me! Not only me, for all of us! yay.
