SexyBIbiatch Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Ok this is so cool!, Green day always make the diference. HOW could anyone not love them?
Marie_GD Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I had heard about this when it went down, it's ridiculous that there is still so many people who are against same-sex relationships! This doesn't mean Green Day will play there..does it?
Bubbles. Posted April 1, 2010 Author Posted April 1, 2010 This doesn't mean Green Day will play there..does it? No it doesn't, they're just supporting it by sponsoring it .
Marie_GD Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 No it doesn't, they're just supporting it by sponsoring it . Ahh ok, imagine if Green Day played at YOUR prom! WOW!
Bubbles. Posted April 1, 2010 Author Posted April 1, 2010 Ahh ok, imagine if Green Day played at YOUR prom! WOW! Haha, I'd die
CrimsonRegret Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Just another one of the many reasons I love them so much! Its awesome!
BillieJoeObsesser Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Aww I love Green Day for this. I'm a strong believer in equal rights. It pisses me off so bad when people think someone who is different then themselves should be treated differently. I agree 100%! i was always a supporter for equal rights and knowing my favorite band in the whole wide world does as well just brings it up on a higher level!! I am very happy Green Day is supporting this!!!
minorty13 Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I agree 100%! i was always a supporter for equal rights and knowing my favorite band in the whole wide world does as well just brings it up on a higher level!! I am very happy Green Day is supporting this!!! Seriously, I thought I couldn't love em more I saw an interview with the girl who wasn't allowed to go with her girlfriend and wear a tux on the Ellen show a week or two ago and she seemed pretty sad about not gettin to go to prom, I'm glad that she, and a bunch of other LGBT/LGBT supporters get this opportunity! Good for them
GreenDayisAmazing Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I think people should be able to bring who they want I mean it's not like they are doing any harm or anything and prom happens like once or twice for most people.
Mar Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I heard about that situation on TV. I felt so bad for that girl, and I was unbelievably pissed off at the school district and everyone that was against her. It's so fantastic to see the boys supporting her, it really does makes me respect them even more. Edit: I'm late on this, but oh well. 4,900 posts! Your av <3 Good to hear they're doing this!
Trina Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Really happy to see Green Day supporting this. Had heard about this story awhile back. So sad.
Anita_GD Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Oh i saw this a few days ago! Ellen DeGeneres tweeted about it!! She said this @GreenDay, I've always loved your music and now I love you more. then she gave the same link that bubbles posted so amazing to see them supporting this and on less important note....ELLEN LOVES GREEN DAY!!
HoneyDo666 Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I love them so much! This is so fantastic of them! I can't believe some people can be so close-minded. The school's getting bitch-slapped by everybody now, and good riddance (pun intended). Constance was on the Ellen Show and all the news stations are all over this. Green Day just became even more godly for supporting the rights that all people should have!
Laura! Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 That's an awesome thing for them to do. I heard about this, I didn't think it was fair for the girl at all.
Boston Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I'm so happy about this. Such a great cause for such a courageous girl.
Marsupial Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I had heard about this when it went down, it's ridiculous that there is still so many people who are against same-sex relationships! This doesn't mean Green Day will play there..does it? ^ I don't think so. But yeah, when I heard about this story in my 'liberal' class (don't ask) I did get a little upset. I've heard of same-sex couples going to prom in my town; sure, it's rare, but I don't think people have to make such a big deal about it. Love is love and the gender shouldn't matter. Really glad to hear that Green Day did something to back up the girls.
norcalgreendayfan Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Thats so awesome Green Day to be supporting this cause, I felt so bad for her when her school cancelled the prom because of that, I hope this in some way makes up for it . This is why Green Day is the best band out there, they really care for their fellow men and women out there.
LetItBeHappy Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 awww, that's so cool These are the things that make me love them even more I'm glad that the LGBT will have a great prom :happy; (sorry, my brain is kinda rotten, so I'm talking shit)
.:Whatsername:. Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I'm really glad the guys are supporting this. Makes me love and respect them even more than I already do.
Thececilie Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 i cant understand why a school would do such a thing, so im REALLY happy to see that green day is supporting the second chance prom <3
AleKerplunk Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 God, they are so sweets (is "sweet" or "sweets"in plural?) im so glad for those guys ^^ and,oh damm, what a stupid reason for cancelled that event but, well, now those guys will have a more better (?) graduation ^^
Rebel07 Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Thats awesome that they're supporting and thats such bullshit about the school canceling the prom, whats this world coming to?
