If it is about a new album, I don't expect it to be out for another year or year and a half. They haven't even finished there 21st Century Breakdown Tour yet.

But Billie was just saying in Rolling Stones when asked about the new record he said something like "I'd like to record an album somewhere like Japan" Sorry if the quote's not perfect it's just a paraphrase. But my point: They might not be recorded the new record in Cali more or less the USA

My guess is that it's either a HUGE exaggeration for a short paragraph about them beginning to write or the AI cast album

Didn't they say something about writing new material in an intervew after the grammys. It could be a new album, I don't think they'll want to spend as much time making there next album as they spent making 21CB. Still i think a new album would take at least another year or 2

Yeah, he said China. and I do realize that, but they're about to start another tour. They're not recording a new album.
