Tiffx Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 That was a very good read. Reminds me why I'm so in love with this band. I'm dying to see the musical.
AndrewW91 Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 This is one of the many many many reasons I love Billie Joe, and Green Day. <3
Joy of suburbia. Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 the article was amazing...there were so many good quotes in there! this article continues to prove that Billie Joe=the motherfucking shizz and those pictures=jizz-tastic. <3 I mean, those pictures wanted to make me jizz in my pants but since I don't have jizz...they were just making me melt.
SexyBIbiatch Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 I cant belive that there is more interview for me to read, because the preview they gave us was so amazing!, just like gda said different from the same stuff over and over!
HoneyDo666 Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Wait, that was just a preview?! I'm so excited for the rest!
gdpony Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 loved the interview! .. its weird to read about bj talking about some of the topics in there really nice! ... and great pics!
Fuzz Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 I'm not sure where people got the idea that there was a longer interview. I asked the author and she said no, what's posted online is the full thing that's in the magazine. She said there were some a couple more photos in the magazine, but said more extras that aren't included in the mag would be posted later this week.
Mar Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 And when it comes to sex, there are parts of me that are very shy and conservative. I want to respect my wife. And that's why I love him. It’s very easy to repeat the bullshit that you were taught as a kid. You worry, How is my son going to turn out? Is he going to be successful? Is he macho enough? And then I’m like, Oh my god, what am I even thinking right now? This made me sad, yet happy, I can't explain it. You can tell he wants his sons to be themselves, but yet, understandably, he's also concerned about their social experiences and how miserable their lives will be. As he said, it's natural to think this way, but it's just sad that as a parent, you have to worry about that. And yeah, those pictures are totally Photoshopped, but he looks amazing in them, especially the bow tie one.
Rebel07 Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 i didn't want to start a whole new thread but supposably billie is going to be on the cover of SPIN magazine too?
alaniluau Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 That was an excellent read! I liked the way they described the AI play. It seems the more I understand the boys, the more I appreciate them. My respect for Billie never ceases to grow.
LetItBeHappy Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 I knew that St. Jimmy - Johnny - Whatsername was a triangle! They said I was crazy! (??) I don't wanna read the whole thread, so... any scans yet, or just the digital version till now?

Moxy Crimefighter Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 That was the sweetest interview yet. :3
Hermione Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 The only thing that annoyed me about this article was this line ...American Idiot, the album that was -- to almost everyone’s immense surprise -- a great leap forward from Green Day’s irreverent, increasingly irrelevant catalog of hits. Even in a well written article like this the writer feels the need to dismiss everything they did before AI
Kaddi. Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Like everyone said, the photos are amazing. I simply love the one were he's leaning against the wall... and yeah, Chucks and jeans look way better on him than those other clothes. Hawt Billie. But the article is really great, too. I really like what he says about his family, I always like that.
Radioactive1 Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Aww that was such a nice read I have so much respect for that man.
RobyRoom Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Like everyone said, the photos are amazing. I simply love the one were he's leaning against the wall... and yeah, Chucks and jeans look way better on him than those other clothes. Hawt Billie. This. I only wish it was bigger so I would have made a wallpaper out of it
HoneyDo666 Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 I think he looks so flawless in the guyliner photo! I loved this interview and if the SPIN thing is true, I have to two interviews that I'm dying to read!
farley drexel hatcher Posted March 16, 2010 Author Posted March 16, 2010 In the Spin one he interviews Paul Westerberg, I need to read this XD
Kaddi. Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 This. I only wish it was bigger so I would have made a wallpaper out of it Oh yeah, that would have made an awesome wallpaper!
Katarina. Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 I just finished reading the article. I LOVED reading it. I agree with Billie so much.
Marki. Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Like everyone said, the photos are amazing. I simply love the one were he's leaning against the wall... and yeah, Chucks and jeans look way better on him than those other clothes. Hawt Billie. I'm going to read it now
